"HE'S GOT THE WHOLE WORLD IN HIS HANDS"
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-The only person who succeeds playing both ends against the middle is an accordion player-
2-A little each day amounts to much in a year-
3-Humility is so elusive that once you think you have it you've lost it-
4-The only difference in a rut and a groove is your attitude-
5-A diamond is a piece of coal that stuck to its job-
Strange thought-if at first you don't succeed, try again-then quit-there is no use being a fool about it-
I've learned-it is good to be content with what you have but never with who you are-
5 things I want to know
1-How can you tell who is the most spiritual?
2-What is unanswered prayer?
3-Is it possible to have our wants granted and not have our prayers answered?
4-Has the church been penetrated by worldly patterns of thinking and behavior?
5-Does God hear all prayers?

"GOOD MORNING TO YOU ALL FROM SLEEPY"
Here are my thoughts for today
1-The heart has reasons that reason does not understand-
2-Keep good company and you'll be counted one of them-
3-If you wake up and find yourself a success you haven't been asleep-
4-The pessimist finds the worst in the best and the optimist finds the best in
the worst-
5-Happiness and joy are twins-
Strange thought-after a salary increase you will have less money at the end of the month than you did before-
I've learned-whenever you need to borrow money it is best to look prosperous-
5 things I want to know
1-Why do we so often want to be someone else's conscience?
2-Where is the world's neediest mission field?
3-Does a world filled with suffering and calamities question whether God
exists?
4-Can we understand faith?
5-How do we know when we hear truth?

1-Some speak from experience and others from experience don't speak-

Strange thought-Don't be irreplaceable for if you can't be replaced you can't be promoted-
I've learned-sometimes we all just need to be held!!

1-What is the difference in grace and mercy?
2-What is the difference in conscience and conviction?
3-Why do we let the things we disagree on divide us?

1-When you leave, leave a vacuum not a wake-

3-Don't trouble trouble until trouble troubles you-
4-If you want to love a butterfly you have to care for caterpillars-
5-If you want to learn, listen to people who don't take much-
STRANGE THOUGHT-if it weren't for the last minute, nothing would get done-
I've learned-the best advice you can give someone is always "be kind"-

1-Does piety equate to poverty?
2-What is the difference in discerning and judging?
3-Is righteousness the absence of sin?
4-Are we guilty of being saved, sanctified and satisfied?
5-Does sanctification make us holy in action, attitude or relationship?

4-If life looks cloudy maybe your windows need washing-
5-The largest room in the world is the room for improvement-
Interesting thought-people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care-
I've learned-it is satisfying to write in your daily journal the good things that happen to you each day-
5 things I want to know
1-Can you be a secret follower of Jesus?
2-Can you lose your fellowship with God without losing your relationship with God?
3-Can a person totally surrendered to Jesus make a bad decision?
4-Does satan have both power and authority?
5-Should the Christian have a larger capacity to love?

1-By its upward struggle the fountain creates its own beauty-
2-Prayer is the key of the morning and the bolt of the evening-
3-Deal with the faults of others as you want others to deal with yours-
4-Grandma's coolies didn't need preservatives for they didn't last that long-
5-Hope is like the sun, sometimes it shines, sometimes it hides but it never goes away-
Strange thought-if you would kick the person who causes you the most problems, you couldn't
sit down for a month-
I've learned-the two happiest days of my life were the day I bought my boat and the day I sold it-

1-Is tolerance the opposite of judging?
2-Must every Christian have their own gethsemene?
3-If we know God doesn't like luke warmness, why do we settle for it?
4-Why do we live like God doesn't mean what he says?
5-Do we underestimate the power of satan?

Monday April 7, 2008 thought for the day
I THOUGHT THIS WAS A NEAT PICTURE OF A TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE-
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-It takes courage when you are in the minority and tolerance when you are in the majority-
2-Days are like suitcases, some can pack more in them than others can-
3-When you have a heart full of love you always have something to give-
4-It is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt-
5-Enjoy life, this is not a dress rehearsal-
Strange thought-answers that sound good aren't necessarily good answers-
I've learned-making a living is not the same as making a life-
5 things I want to know
1-Can a Christian carry a grudge?
2-What is a "burden for the lost"?
3-Are Christians to be "soldiers" or "pacifists"?
4-What is intercessory prayer?
5-Do Christians have a tendency to look down on others?

1-Friendship is not only for enjoyment but also for service-
2-Your dreams never come true by over sleeping-
3-You can't enjoy the cream of life if you bottle up the milk of human kindness-
4-Forgiveness happens sooner if you take the initiative-
5-It takes as much effort to wish as it does to plan-
Strange thought-the best thing so save for a rainy day is an umbrella-
I've learned-envy is the enemy of happiness-

1-Do we serve God out of duty or love?
2-Are there degrees of honesty?
3-What does prayer change?
4-Is there ever a good reason to hate?

ISN'T THIS A BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAIN SCENE?
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-When all is said and done there is usually more said than done-
2-Procrastination was last seen trying to find motivation-
3-The missing ingredient in most speeches is a little shortening-
4-The simplest things are often the hardest to grasp-
5-A good sleep aid is hard work-
Strange thought-the handwriting on the wall means the grandchildren have found the crayons-
I've learned-if you want to learn who is boss in a family just check to see who holds the
remote control-

1-Does God's grace cancel the consequences of sin?
2-How can we not judge others?
3-Can we expect prayer to change our life's circumstances?
4-Can prayer change the mind of God?

A BEAUTIFUL SUNRISE
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-The journey of life is more than reaching the destination-
2-One of these days means none of these days-
3-The darkest hour is 60 minutes long-
4-Life is not always a bed of roses but God helps cushion the thorns along the way-
5-Remember the things that make you glad and forget the things that make you sad-
Strange thought-teenager-a young person who expressed a desire to be different by dressing
like others-
I've learned-everyone has something to teach-

1-What does it mean to be "alive to Christ and dead to sin?
2-Is sanctification a part of receiving the Holy Spirit?
3-Is it more important to be right or to be loving?
4-How do you know when the truth is truth?
5-Can we be forgiven if we don't forgive others?

I've learned-the most creative ideas come from beginners not experts-

1-Is unjust suffering better than deserved punishment?
2-Is giving money to church giving it to God?
3-When we criticize others are we criticizing God?
4-Why do we criticize others for what they aren't instead of complimenting them for what they are?

Yes, April has finally gotten here-could winter be finally over??
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-A wishbone doesn't take the place of a backbone-
2-The most important things in life aren't things-
3-One person with courage is a majority-
4-It is what you learn after you you think know it all that counts-
5-To speak kindly does not hurt the tongue_
Strange thought-it is easy to meet expenses, they are everywhere we turn-
I've learned-you know your wife loves you when there are two brownies left and she takes the
smaller one-

1-Is anything evil in and of itself?
2-What is carnality?
3-Does grace cover willful disobedience?
4-Does "freedom in Christ" mean we can do anything we want?
5-Was the Holy Spirit present in Jesus life?
