Here are my thoughts for today-
1-Jesus bore the judgement we deserve to bring us the forgiveness we don't deserve-
2-Love doesn't make the world go around, but it sure makes the ride worthwhile-
3-A chip on the shoulder means there is wood higher up-
4-A fool is his own informer-
5-A fool says what he knows, a wise man knows what he says-
A strange thought-a kind gentle thought to indicate stupidity-

I've learned-you form a committee to "study the matter" when you really don't want to do anything-

1-Does God harden peoples hearts today as he did in the old testament?
2-In the 12 tribes of Israel why is there no tribe of Joseph?
3-What is the Book of the Law found in Joshua 24:25
4-Is the old testament God of anger and judgement the same as the new testament God of
Mercy and grace?
5-Did God in the old testament speak in an audible voice?

2-Why did God ask the Israelites to also kill innocent women and children?
3-Why were the Israelites to remove sandals when standing on Holy Ground-
4-How did the "sun stand still"in answer to Joshua's prayer?
5-What is the book of Jasher (Joshua 10:13)

3-Does God only show love to those who are obedient?
4-Can God use sinners to accomplish his will?
5-Why was Joseph's and Mary's passing never recorded in scripture?

PRAYING HANDS
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-Cheap and miserly people are not generous-
2-The Kingdom of God is the kingdom of right relationships-
3-People don't have money problems that lead to relationship problems, they have relationship
problems that lead to money problems-
4-No matter the circumstances, if relationships are good, life is worth living-
5-The road that leads to financial confidence begins with financial competence in little things-
Strange thought-as you grow older, gravity is not your friend-
I've learned-enthusiasm and success just seem to go hand in hand-

1-Why/how did the Israelites continually forget what God had done for them?
2-Why did God ask for so many offering sacrifices?
3-Were the sacrificial offerings required of individuals, families or the nation?
4-How can we be content with where God has placed us without wanting more?
5-What does it mean to be "poor in spirit"?

Here are my thoughts for today
1-Most people do not lack for things but they do lust for things-
2-The secret to wealth-knowing how to manage your finances when you have very little-
3-If you are not content with a little you will not be content with more-
4-Just because you have less money doesn't mean you are worth less-
5-The monied people are not necessarily the blessed of God-
Strange thought-seat belts are not as confining as wheelchairs-
I've learned-regrets over yesterday and the fear of tomorrow are twin thieves that rob us of the
moment-
5 things I want to know
1-Does God demand repentance for atonement?
2-If "thou shall not kill" is valid why did God demand the Israelites kill their enemy's?
3-Does God punish the sins of the fathers to the 3rd and 4th generations?
4-If God is a spirit, how can an aroma of an offering be pleasing to him?
5-Is God masculine?
Scripture for today-Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. . . . Strange thought-the problem with bucket seats is that not everybody has the same size bucket-
I've learned-meeting interesting people depends less on where you go than on who you are-

1-What does the old testament mean by "ceremonial unclean"?
2-Does God ever not hear our prayers?
3-How did Israelites receive forgiveness of sin through blood sacrifices without repentance?
4-Can we sanctify ourselves?
5-Why did God sometimes, but not always, demand violent death to those who disobeyed
his commands?

Here are my thoughts for today-
1-You are possessed by the things you own-
2-To get to true riches you must go through, not around or without, money-
3-Money is an imposter that promises life but never delivers-
4-Consumers are often consumed with consumption-
5-When you have fear, you are in bondage to something that shouldn't have that much control
over you-
Strange thought-be careful reading the fine print, there is no way you're going to like it-
I've learned-most people resist change but it is the only thing that brings progress-
5 things I want to know
1-Do all old testament instructions apply to us today?
2-Did Jesus cancel all the required old testament offerings?
3-If you sin unintentionally or unknowingly, is it still sin?
4-If you can sin unknowingly, how can you live a sinless life?
5-The Israelites has so many instructions from God, how could they possibly keep them all?

Here are my thoughts for today-
1-Generosity has little to do with money and a lot to do with life-
2-You will raise your standard of living when you raise your standard of giving-
3-Appearances are the games we play in front of people, reality is what we live before God-
4-God wants us to move from selfishness to the state of generosity whose capital is contentment-
5-If you have money but not life you have nothing-life is not the end result of having money-
Strange thought-money can't buy happiness but somehow some folks feel it is more comfortable
to cry in a corvette than in a yugo-
I've learned-it is easy to go from the simple life to the fast track but almost impossible to go
back the other way-
5 things I want to know
1-Is it true that you cannot out give God?
2-What ever happened to the ark of the covenant?
3-Is it possible in our culture to not do any work on the Sabbath?
4-How did Moses record all the instructions from God given in Exodus and Leviticus?
5-Where did all the precious metals and jewelry come from in Exodus?

1-Your good works may reflect your love for God but in no way do they make
you righteous-

with God-

Strange thought-do you realize that in about 40-50 years we'll have thousands of old ladies running around with tattoos-
I've learned-a woman would rather be complimented about her intelligence than her looks-

1-Did Jesus live an ordinary childhood with his family?
2-How do you "pray in the spirit"?
3-Did Jesus heal others than those recorded in scripture?
4-How do you worship God "in spirit and in truth"?
5-Can we give too much to God that our family suffers?

Here are my thoughts for today-
1-The babbling brook would lose it's song if you removed the rocks-
2-In order to see the rainbow you must first endure the rain-
3-Hatred is not an option for people who want to serve God and have his blessing on their lives-
4-No Christian is any stronger than their knowledge of the word of God-
5-The God of the bible is a covenant God and he never breaks his covenants-
Strange thought-it is easy to play any instrument-all you have to do is touch the right key at
The right time and the instrument will play itself-
I've learned-I am happy when I am kind to others and unhappy when I am not-
5 things I want to know
1-Why didn't Jesus appoint someone to be a recorder of his life and activities?
2-How do you have a "personal relationship" with God?
3-Do Christians know what they are saying when they say "I want to be more like Jesus"-what
About his sufferings, persecution, etc?
4-Do we live like we prefer "grace" or "mercy"?
5-Is true total forgiveness devoid of self interest?

1-If Christianity doesn't have the answers to the major problems of the world, they won't be
answered adequately-
2-If the world has nothing to say against you, beware lest Jesus has nothing to say for you-
3-The gospel of Christ has no meaning unless it is applied to our fellow man who hurts and
is in need-
4-You cannot be salt to the world without entering it-
5-Life is not what happens to you but how you react to it-what caused you to react will surely pass
but how you continue to react can only be passed by you-
Strange thought-the only way to look younger is not to be born so soon-
I've learned-even the most mundane job hold the potential for great achievement-
5 things I want to know
1-Did pharaoh also die in the closing up of the red sea?
2-What does it mean to "keep the Sabbath day holy"?
3-Is it possible today to keep all 10 commandments as God originally designed them?
4-Does God's blessings go only to the sinless life?
5-If the 10 commandments apply to us today, why not all the other commands in the book
of Exodus?

1-What does it mean to "circumcise your heart" and how is it done?
2-Can we truly do no work on the Sabbath?
3-Is the Sabbath on Saturday or Sunday and does it matter?
4-How can you know with certainty that someone is speaking spiritual truth?
5-When did God change from a God of wrath(O T) to a God of love(N T)?

2-If you treat every situation as a life and death matter, you will die a lot-

4-Great wealth does not assure peace and contentment, sharing it to meet needs is more
likely to bring these blessings-
5-You can't be the architect of anothers grief, you can only stand by those to catch some
of the falling pieces-
Strange thought-Don't let people drive you crazy when you know insanity is within walking
distance-
I've learned-people are more influenced by how much I care than by how much I know-
5 things I want to know-
1-Why is Ecclesiates a part of scripture since it sounds so negative?
2-Why is Song of Solomon a part of scripture since it sounds so sensual?
3-What does Isaiah mean-"Come let us reason together"?

1-Why was so much of the Bible written in confusing and unclear language?
2-Can a believing Christian ever have real doubts about his faith?
3-Does satan have the power to affect out health?
4-Is there a difference in God answering or God responding to our prayers?
5-What does it mean "the Lord, He is God"?

"FRIENDS"
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-Laughter is a tranquilizer with no side effects-
2-Life is a journey often having heavy baggage but laughter is the porter who helps carry it-
3-God's promises are like stars, the darker the night the brighter they shine-
4-Enjoy the little things in life for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things-
5-Hang in there for in 2 days tomorrow will be yesterday-
Strange thought-if you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague-
I've learned-when I am given the choice of 31 flavors of ice cream I still choose my favorite one-
5 things I want to know
1-Does the abundant life mean abundance of life's things?
2-Is there any indication that Jesus ever did carpenter work?
3-Does my eternity begin at birth or death?
4-Why did Job sit on an ash pile?
5-When the bible says "and the Lord God said to them", how did He speak so that man knew who he was?

"SPEEDY"
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-Christians-people who are betting their life that Jesus is who he said he was-
2-Knowledge helps you make a living-wisdom helps you make a life-
3-The bend in the road is not the end of the road unless you refuse to take the turn-
4-Conscience-what hurts when all your other parts feels so good-
5-When one door closes another always opens, but those long dark hallways in between are hard to walk-
Strange thought-He is a few peas short of a casserole!
I've learned-you can love someone but still not like them very much-

"A BEAUTIFUL GARDEN ENTRANCE"
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-Love-the word used to describe the sexual excitement of the young, the contentment of the middle aged, and the dependence of the old-
2-You can't be lonely if you like the person you're alone with-
3-A hug is like a boomerang, you get it back right away-
4-We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual beings having a human experience-
5-The finish line is the beginning of a whole new race-
Strange thought-without the resistance of gravity, we could not walk-
I've learned-it is very satisfying to work hard at work that is worth doing-
5 things I want to know
1-What is God's purpose in Christians having wealth?
2-Should we give to get our needs met or give just because there is a need?
3-Is giving to get back a valid or erroneous concept?
4-Can you have a lot of wealth and not be blessed?
5-Was it Jesus's birth, death or resurrection that offers us salvation?

"FREEDOM!"
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-Forgiveness is a sign of strength not weakness-
2-To forgive is to change your future not your past-
3-Forgiveness saves the expense of anger, the costs of hatred and the waste of spirits-
4-You forgive to the degree you love-
5-True forgiveness is when you recall those who hurt you and feel the power to wish them will-
Strange thought-inflation is when you pay $15 for the $10 haircut you used to get for $5 when you had hair-
I've learned-an economist is a person who can be right just 10% of the time and still draw a paycheck-
5 things I want to know
1-Why is Jesus mother Mary not mentioned in the resurrection story?
2-Whatever happened to Mary after Pentecost?
3-Why is there no mention in scripture of Mary"s passing or where she was buried?
4-Are all sins self centeredness?
5-Does sin break fellowship or does it stop fruitfulness?

Strange thought-the wonderful world of home appliances now makes it possible to cook indoors with charcoal and outdoors with gas-

1-What is the "light" we are to let shine?
2-Can a spirit filled believer be demon possessed?
3-What does it mean to "lay up treasures in heaven"?
4-Does reaping what you sow always mean "in kind"?

1-In youth the days are short and the years long-in old age the years are short and the days are
long-
2-The consequences of anger are worse than the cause of it-
3-Speak when you are angry and you will make the best speech you will ever regret-
4-For every minute you are angry you will give up 60 seconds of peace of mind-
5-Faith-taking the first step even when you don't see the top of the stairway-
Strange thought-when you become senile you won't know it-
I've learned-when most people aim for what they want out of life, they aim too low-

1-Why is Jesus childhood not mentioned in scripture?
2-Why was Jesus first miracle turning water into wine?
3-Where was Jesus mother Mary at the trial of Jesus?
4-Why is Mary's emotions at the crucifixion not mentioned in scripture?
5-Why was John given responsibility for Mary instead of her other sons?
Scripture for today-"Just as the rain and snow descend from the skies and don't go back until they've watered the earth, making things grow and blossom…so will the words that come out My mouth not come back empty-handed. They'll do the work I sent them to do" (Isaiah 55:10-11, Message).

1-Those who love deeply never grow old, they may die of old age but they die young-
2-Middle age-when your age starts to show around your middle-
3-Forty is the old age of youth, fifty is the youth of old age-
4-Anyone can get old, all you have to do is live long enough-
5-Old age is the price you pay for maturity-
Strange thought-coffee-a break fluid-
I've learned-you often take out your frustrations on the people you love the most-

1-Why is there no information in the bible about the holy family in Egypt?
2-Where did Jesus and family live in Egypt?
3-How many children did Mary have?
4-Why were Jesus's sisters nameless?
5-Why was Joseph not mentioned again after Jesus in the temple episode?
Scripture for today-2 Chronicles 7:3 NIV...and they worshiped and gave thanks to the LORD, saying, “He is good; his love endures forever.”

5-The frightening thing about middle age is the knowledge that you'll grow out of it-

2-To whom does the term "Immaculate conception" refer to?
3-When was Joseph and Mary married?
4-Was Mary considered a virgin after Jesus was born?
5-Why were the gospels written so long after the events happened?

1-How do you feel God's presence?
2-Does feeling always come with salvation?
3-Why do followers of false religions seem to be more zealous than Christians?
4-Why do Christians possess so many material things?
5-Was Joseph (Mary's husband) a young man, an older man or a widower?
