NOW, WHY WOULD YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS??
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-People are more likely to help you achieve your goals if they believe you appreciate their efforts-
2-Keep your agreements-
3-It is impossible to become a success if you don't have faith in yourself-
4-Sacrificing usually isn't a sacrifice, it is a path to something better-
5-Rejection does not prevent success, fear of rejection does-

Strange thought-the people with no past have no future-

I've learned-the faults I have now are the ones my parents tried to correct when I was a child-

5 things I want to know-
1-Why did God's Spirit lead Jesus to the desert to be tempted by satan?
2-Does God lead us into temptation?
3-What was the purpose of Jesus's 40 day fast?
4-If Jesus was God, why did He need time alone?
5-Did satan really think that Jesus would yield do his proposals?

1-What I am is what God made me and what I am not is what God made someone else-
2-Better good and a little than bad and a lot-
3-Feed your faith and your doubts will starve themselves-
4-The trouble with bad habits is that they preserve the status quo making changes unlikely-
5-Feeling appreciated is the greatest motivation in the workplace-

Strange thought-Slow down! You'll get there faster-

I've learned-to be generous with praise and compliments but cautious with promises-

5 things I want to know
1-Is baptism a part of repentance and salvation?
2-When did Jesus's ministry begin?
3-Is it humanly possible for Jesus to have fasted 40 days and nights?
4-Was Jesus's fast a complete fast or solid food only?
5-Why did satan wait until the end of Jesus's fast to tempt him?

5-The church is a gift from God but assembly is required-

Strange thought-1,000 aches = 1 megahurts

I've learned-the best tranquilizer is a clear conscience-

1-When did Jesus siblings know who he really was?
2-Did all of Jesus"s family accept him as divine?
3-Why no mention of the Magi in the Gospel of Luke?
4-Why did Jesus change Simon's name to Peter?
5-Why did people come to John the Baptist confessing their sins?

1-How long did Jesus's family live in Egypt?
2-When did Mary and Joseph die?
3-Where were Mary and Joseph buried?
4-How many children did Joseph and Mary have?
5-How did Jesus' siblings relate to him?

I've learned-kind words and good deeds are eternal, you never know where their influence will end-

1-How was the star so special that the Magi saw and followed?
2-Where were the Magi from?
3-Were the Magi the only foreigners who came to see Jesus?
4-Did the Magi find Jesus in Bethlehem?
5-Were Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus still in Bethlehem months or years after Jesus birth?

Strange thought-everyone is a house with four rooms-physical, mental, emotional,spiritual

I've learned-I don't understand women and I never will!!!

1-Did Isaac's feelings for Rebecca change after she helped deceive him in giving his blessing
to the wrong son?
2-Was there any significance to Jesus being born in an animal stall?
3-Would Mary have had attendants at Jesus birth?
4-Who first know about Jesus birth, the shepherds or the Magi?
5-Who did the shepherds tell about what they had seen?

2-How did the Magi make their trip?
3-Did Jesus have a last name?
4-How did the magi know to ask "where is He who is born king of the Jews"?
5-What was the place of Jesus birth-a shed, a stall, a cave, etc.?

1-When /god gives an assignment He also gives the skills-

3-You are not God's solution to society but a solution in society-
4-Don't worry about skills you don't have and don't covet strengths others do have-
5-You cannot be anything you want to be but you can be everything God wants you to be-

Strange thought-one millionth of a mouthwash=one microscope

I've learned-when visiting my parents it takes about 5 seconds to say "hello!" and about 30 minutes to
say goodbye-

5 things I want to know
1-If Mary was 'highly favored' by God, shouldn't we protestants show her more adoration?
2-Why don't we know more about Jesus's father Joseph?
3-After starting his ministry, did Jesus ever come back to visit or stay with his mother Mary?
4-Does God speak to us today in anyway but scripture?
5-When searching scripture for an answer to a situation, how do we know when we have found it?

3-A best friend is a sister/brother that God didn't give you-
4-Friends are flowers that never fade away-
5-Good friends are like angels, you don't have to see them to know they are there-

Strange thought-obese people don't skinny dip, they chunky dunk-

I've learned-a good deal is a good deal only when it is a good deal for both parties-

5 things I want to know
1-Why do we emphasize what our denominations founding fathers had to say but ignore what
the early church fathers had to say?
2-Did Jesus ever get sick or injured as a child or youth?
3-Why was Jesus given a common name?
4-How do we know we are worshiping in an acceptable manner?
5-Was the early church gatherings a time of worship or a time for celebration?

2-Did Jesus's grandparents have any impact on his life?
3-When did Jesus know who he was?
4-Would baby Jesus have been an abnormally good baby and an unusually good toddler?
5-Why do protestants seem to emphasize faith and downplay works?

1-Could God have redeemed the world without the crucifixion?
2-When God saw Jesus crucified why didn't he respond violently against the soldiers?
3-How in our weakness can Jesus become strong?
4-Can you be saved and not live like it?
5-Can you be a Christian and not talk like one?

1-Why did God require a sinless person to die for my sins to be forgiven?
2-Did Jesus really have a choice about his death?
3-If Jesus life was predestined is ours also predestined?
4-Did Judas really have a choice about betraying Jesus or was he predestined to do it?
5-Was Jesus death the only plan God had for man's salvation?

1-What was so special about the star that the Magi followed it?
2-How old was Jesus and where did he live when the Magi found him?
3-Why do we put the shepherds and the Magi together at the manger?
4-Of what significance were the gifts of the Magi to Jesus?
5-Why were people in the Bible led of God by dreams but not today?

1-How was it that Mary so willing accepted what Gabriel said to her?
2-How could Mary and Elizabeth be filled with the holy spirit before he was sent after Jesus departed?
3-Was the Holy Spirit in the world before the transfiguration?
4-What does it mean that "the Lord God will give Jesus the throne of his father David?
5-Why do we use the term "personal relationship with God" when it is not a biblical term?

1-Does Malachi say that if you tithe you will have abundance?
2-Do you reap what you sow even if you don't know what you are sowing?
3-Why doesn't the old testament tell more clearly and precisely about the coming of Jesus?
4-Did nothing of significance happen in the 400 years between the old and new testament?
5-Mary was told by the angel Gabriel, "the Holy Spirit will come upon you"-how did she know
what the Holy Spirit was?

them in the first place?
3-How can the joy of the Lord be strength to you?

2-Why is there a I and II Chronicles when much of it seems to be a retelling of previous books?
3-Where was all the gold used by Solomon from?
4-Why didn't God give Solomon a much longer life?
5-What and where are the records of Shemiah the Prophet and Iddo the Seer?

Strange thought-crime does not pay------at least not as well as politics does-

I've learned-I still can't eat an oreo cookie without first opening it up and licking off the filling-

IS THIS THE BRAVEST GUY IN THE WORLD???
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-Words show the wit of a man but actions show his meaning-
2-Beautiful is not what is beautiful but what one likes-
3-You can't measure the whole world with your own yardstick-
4-God never gets rusty-
5-One hand washes the other-

Strange thought-a kind gentile thought to indicate stupidity-
In his brain the wheel is spinning but the hamster is dead-

I've learned-the trick to living a long time is to not grow old-

1-What and where is the book "The Annual of the Kings of Israel"?
2-What and where is the book "The Annuals of the KIngs of Judah"?
3-What and where is the "Book of the Law"?
4-In the old testament is there a difference in an angel coming and the word of the Lord coming?
5-Who were the company of prophets in the old testament?

Strange thought-telling the truth is the safest lie-

I've learned-not to waste time about things I cannot change-

1-Why are so many Christians not willing to accept as brothers and sisters those whom God calls his children?
2-If Soloman was so wise, how is it he failed to follow God's command knowing what his people before him had been through?
3-Why didn't Soloman ever repent of his disobedience?
4-Did Soloman's great wisdom make him feel infallible?
5-What and where is the book--"The Annuals of Soloman"?

DOES THIS LOOK LIKE MY COMPUTER ROOM???
Here are my thoughts for today
1-Money never can buy sense-
2-Prayers go up and blessings come down-
3-Protest long enough that you are right and you will be wrong-
4-The glaciers didn't freeze overnight-
5-The soldiers fight and their leaders are heroes-

Strange thought-silence is also speech-

I've learned-the only time I want to sleep late is when I can't-

5 things I want to know
1-Did Jesus speak more than one language?
2-Why does the bible not directly address the issue of suicide?
3-Is it ever permissible to not tell all of the truth?
4-How could David be "a man after God's own heart" when he had such sin in his life?
5-Where is the Ark of the Covenant and its contents today?

My thought for the day-
1-If you cannot obey you cannot command-
2-If a link is broken, the whole chain is broke-
3-When you need a helping hand you'll find one at the end of your arm-
4-If you want your dreams to come true don't sleep-
5-Make no more haste than good speed-

Strange thought-if the rich could hire other people to die for them the poor would make a
terrific living-

I've learned-if you ask someone "I wonder if you could help me?" you will almost always get a
positive response-

5 things I want to know
1-Why was David anointed king years before he was made king?
2-How were Jesus physical needs met during his 3 years of ministry-eating, clothing, housing, etc.?
3-Why was Uzzah struck dead by God for touching the Ark when he was simply trying to help
keep it from falling off the cart?
4-Could God have provided our salvation by just sending Jesus to be born and then transfigured?
5-Why didn't David punish his son Amnon for raping his sister?

Funny! Funny! Funny!
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-Don't throw away the old bucket until you know whether the new one will hold water-
2-Every seller praises his wares-
3-Everyone is kneaded from the same dough but not all are baked in the same oven-
4-Flattery makes friends and truth sometimes makes enemies-
5-When you can't endure the bad you won't appreciate the good-

Strange thought-a kind and gentle thought to indicate stupidity-
His belt doesn't go through all the hoops

I've learned-don't expect life's very best if you aren't giving it your vert best-

1-Since Jesus was divine did he need parenting by his mother and father?
2-How can you pray without ceasing?
3-Do great periods of prayer always precede great revivals?
4-How do you know when you've prayed enough?
5-Does praise remove your problems?

1-A penny is a lot of money if you have none-
2-A rich man who is stingy is he worst pauper-
3-Better to ask ten times than to go astray once-
4-Charity does not excuse cheating-
5-Charm is more than beauty-

Strange thought-You cannot jump over your own shadow-

I've learned-a marriage can survive almost anything except the husband staying home all day-

1-What happens when God's hand is removed from a life?
2-Did God send an evil spirt to Saul?
3-If David was confident of victory over Goliath, why did he take 5 stones and not just one?
4-Is it really possible to contact the dead as did Saul of Samuel?
5-Is an open door always good to walk through?

5-You are old when your regrets take the place of your dreams-

Strange thought-A fool who can keep quiet is counted among the wise-

I've learned-you never get rewarded for the things you intend to do-

5 things I want to know
1-Could the old testament accounts of killing enemies be accurate?
2-What is the difference in killing and murder?
3-Why is the old testament so filled with accounts of mass killings?
4-Why were "lots cast" to determine God's will?
5-Does God only give good things?
