Here are my thoughts for today-
1-Nothing happens until something or someone moves-
2-A therapist is an emotional baggage handler-
3-Integrity always matters-
4-More money will not fix everything-
5-Until you know how to handle a small amount of money well, lots of money will only create
bigger problems-

Strange thought-the trouble with some self made men is that they worship their creator-

I've learned-people who say "money isn't everything" usually have plenty of it-

5 things I want to know
1-Who was Peter's wife and mother in law?
2-Why did Jesus teach in the synagogue and not in the temple in Jerusalem?
3-What was the primary function of the synagogue?
4-Did any of Jesus's family members not believe in who he was-if so who were they?
5-When did the disciples become the apostles?

Scripture for today-Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Could you men not keep watch with me for one hour?” he asked Peter. Matthew 26:40 (NIV)

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper

Tuesday September 2, 2008 thought for the day

"THE HAPPY TOE FAMILY"
Here are my thoughts for today
1-Failing to acknowledge the truth is like holding beach balls under water-they keep popping back up-
2-Harboring resentment is like drinking a cup of poison and waiting for the other person to die-
3-Very often in close relationships, ones true feeling behind a conflict are never spoken-
4-Words can speak just as loudly as actions if they are sincere and well chosen-
5-Good communication requires good listening-

Strange thought-be careful of what you want for you may get it-

I've learned-many people give up just when they are about to succeed-

5 things I want to know-
1-What is the difference in a disciple and an apostle?
2-How many apostles were there in Jesus day?
3-Luke 4 say for forty days Jesus was tempted by satan-were there other temptations than the three listed?
4-What does it mean "do not put the Lord God to the test"?
5-Did satan tempt Jesus at any other time than during the 40 days of temptation?

Scripture for today-There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest. Hebrews 4:9–11 (NIV)

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper

Monday September 01, 2008 thought for the day

IS HE DELIVERING OR REMOVING THE COKE MACHINE?
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-Your life will become richer if you try to minimize fault finding and maximize appreciation-
2-When people believe you value their opinion, they are predisposed to value yours-
3-Make an effort to see beauty where others see ugliness-purpose where others see chaos-value
where others see uselessness-
4-Without strong motivation people do not change-
5-Criticism breeds criticism-

Strange thought-Did you ever stop to think and forget to start again?

I've learned-to get the right answer you have to ask the right question-

5 things I want to know
1-When Jesus went from place to place, how and where did he live?
2-Why did Peter, James and John immediately follow Jesus when asked to do so?
3-Was everyone healed who came to Jesus seeking it?
4-Why does the calling of Peter and Andrew differ in Matthew 4 and John 1?
5-How can the gospels be accurate when they were written maybe 75-100 years after Jesus's life without any previous written record being available?

Scripture for today-We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood. 1 John 4:6 (NIV)

I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
