NOW , WHERE DID I PARK MY BIKE THIS MORNING??
Here are my thoughts for today
1-We life our lives forward but understand them backwards-
2-Sometimes a quiet listener out shines a brilliant conversationalist-
3-If the grass looks greener on the other side, fertilize your side-
4-The nice thing about flattery is that you don't need to believe it to enjoy it-
5-It is not so important where we are standing as in which direction we are moving-
Strange thought-the family that rakes together aches together-
I've learned-it is better to die with a good name than to live with a bad one-

1-How many times in the bible were a large group of people fed bread and yet have leftovers?
2-Are supernatural events happening all around us that are invisible to the natural eye?
3-How is it possible that we could do more than what Jesus did?
4-Can you give thanks without a grateful heart?

Here are my thoughts for today
1-The simple realization that there are other points of view is the beginning of wisdom-
2-If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way-
3-Enjoy today for it won't come back tomorrow-
4-You can't control the length of your life but you can control it's width and depth-
5-You can't depend on your eyes when your imagination is out of focus-
Strange thought-imagine having to live forever in heaven with people you don't like here-
I've learned-a person's true character is revealed by what he does when no one is watching-
5 things I want to know
1-How many children did David have altogether?
2-How could one man (ex.-David -Solomon) satisfy so many wives and concubines?
3-Where was the Queen of Sheeba from?
4-How could Solomon be so wise and yet marry foreign women?
5-Did Solomon ever repent of his disobedience to God?
Scripture for today-If you wait for perfect conditions, you will never get anything done. Ecclesiastes 11:4 (NLT)

1-Nostalgia is a memory file that removes the rough edges from the good old days-
2-Age does not diminish the sad memory of having a scoop of ice cream fall from the cone-
3-Enjoy life for this is not a dress rehearsal-
4- People are like steel for when thy lose their temper they lose their worth-
5-Live your life so you don't have to hide your diary-

1-You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who can do nothing for them or to them-
2-The generosity of God knows no bounds and is no respecter of persons-
3-Many people think they are Christians by doing and/or not doing certain things-
4-There are no spiritual stages to god's mercy-
5-Worship is a relinquishing of control-
Strange thought-all money talks, but all says is "goodbye"-
I've learned-patience is a quality you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead of you-
5 things I want to know
1-Can man ever get God to change his mind?
2-How was it that David was such a good marksman with a sling shot?
3-Was David's slingshot a shepherd boys toy or a warriors weapon?
4-Why was Jonathan not upset he wouldn't be the next king of Israel?
5-Was it okay for Jonathan to lie about David to Saul?

1-It is only when we learn to see ourselves through other people's eyes that we see ourselves as we really are-
2-We all need people around us with enough courage and love to tell us the truth about ourselves-
3-"Perfect" people are always lonely because no one wants to be around them-
4-Nothing touches you more deeply than pain-
5-We don't like mercy being given to those who haven't paid the price and don't deserve it-
Strange thought-churches are a life boat not a cruise ship-
I've learned-your companions are like buttons on an elevator-they will either take you up or they will take you down-
5 things I want to know
1-Is it ever too late to come to God?
2-Is God always merciful?
3-Why do children of "righteous" people so often reject their parents ways?
4-Who was Samuel's wife?
5-Can you be so heavenly minded you are no earthly good?
Scripture for today-Make the most of every chance you get. These are desperate times! Ephesians 5:16 (MSG) Isn't this true today!!!!

1-The bible is a book about salvation and redemption-
2-Only when a person has realized their guilt can the mercy of God come into play-
3-If I judge even one person, I'm saying that judgement is the basis of which I want everyone evaluated, myself included-
4-Being faithful is not the same as being perfect for faithfulness allows for failure, perfection does not-
5-Obtaining greatness is not making everyone else lower than ourselves in our own mind-

3-At MT. Sinai, why did the Israelites chose a golden calf to worship rather than some other animal?

THE ELECTRIC CAR IS ALREADY HERE!
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-When the world pushes you to your knees, you are in the perfect position to pray-
2-The phrase "why worry when you can pray" should be "why worry when you can trust God"
3-Praying isn't telling God how worried, unhappy or bad your situation is but telling God how you will believe and trust him to work things out-
4-If a million people say a foolish dthing, it is still a foolish thing-
5-Wise men talk because they have something to say. fools talk because they have to say something-
Strange thought-good judgement comes from experience and much of that comes from bad judgement-
I've learned-patience is the ability to keep your motor idling while you feel like stripping your gears-
5 things I want to know
1-How could Egypt have had such a more advanced culture than Israel in bible times?
2-Why was Egypt not a nomadic society like Israel in old/new testament times?
3-Why did pharaoh give Jacob's family their own separate land in which to live?
4-Why didn't the Israelites return to Israel from Egypt after the 7 year famine was over?
5-Why would pharaoh's daughter rescue a Hebrew baby from the water?
Scripture for today-Live together in harmony, live together in love, as though you had only one mind and one spirit between you … in humility think more of each other than you do of yourselves. Philippians 2:3-4

5-Why did God chose to continue the nation of Israel through Joseph's brothers (ten tribes of Israel) when they were so evil?

2-If angels do have a choice of right or wrong, don't they need salvation?
3-Why do we hear so little preaching or teaching today about god's wrath?
4-How can a God of love also be a God of wrath?
5-Has history ever seen the extent of God's wrath?

1-Sin cannot be ignored, it must be dealt with-

5-I do not understand the mystery of grace, only that I meets us where we are but does not leave us where it found us-

1-What does thee word "altar" mean?
2-Why was there a bull's horn on each corner at the top of the altar in the old testament?
3-Are angels created with a choice of right and wrong?
4-In the beginning did Satan have a choice of right and wrong or was he predestined for his place?

1-Sin cannot be ignored, it must be dealt with-
2-You can't use Jesus's grace and mercy to excuse your sin-
3-It is better to begin in the evening than not at all-
4-Happiness isn't a condition, it is a decision-
5-I do not understand the mystery of grace, only that I meets us where we are but does not leave us where it found us-
Strange thought-Why does a round pizza come in a square box?
I've learned-I still have a lot to learn

1-What does thee word "altar" mean?
2-Why was there a bull's horn on each corner at the top of the altar in the old testament?
3-Are angels created with a choice of right and wrong?
4-In the beginning did Satan have a choice of right and wrong or was he predestined for his place?

THIS LOOKS LIKE A SERIOUS ACCIDENT!!
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-Christians have the DNA of Christ-
2-Sin-the big I resides-
3-Rebellion demands no authority-
4-When you have a loving master, independence is over rated-
5-It doesn't count for anything that you sin less than someone else-
Strange thought-why do you have to "put in your 2 cents worth"--it's only a "penny for your thoughts" so what happened to the extra penny??
I've learned-you shouldn't do anything that wouldn't make your mother proud-
5 things I want to know
1-If Ishmael was Abraham's first son, shouldn't he have received the birthright blessing-?
2-How could Abraham send his son and Hagar into the wilderness knowing they could perish?
3-How old was Ishmael when he and Hagar were sent away?
4-Did Abraham ever see his son Ishmael again?
5-How old was Isaac when Abraham went to sacrifice him?

1-We want to be liked by most everyone-

Strange thought-you only have to do a few things right in your life so long as you don't do too many things wrong-

1-The living creatures that are indigenous to certain continents far from where Noah lived, were they also on the ark? If so, how did they get to the ark and back home again after it dried up or did they come into existence after the flood?

4-Where in Babylon was the tower of Babel?
5-After the great flood, how did Noah's grandchildren repopulate the earth, if all people had been destroyed who were not in the ark? Did they have children by each other (incest)?

Here are my thoughts for today-
1-Don't be so busy adding up your troubles that you forget to count your blessings-
2-With one small gesture you can change a person's life-
3-God puts us all in each other life to impact one another in some way-
4-Happy moments, praise God--Difficult moments, seek God--Quiet moments, worship God--Painful moments, trust God--every moment, thank God-
5-When you are angry with a person you are saying you don't like them, when you are angry at what they do you are saying you don't like their actions-
Strange thought-too much of a good thing can be wonderful-
I've learned-no matter how bad it gets, when my child hugs and kisses me and says "Don't worry, everything will be ok!" I know I can make it-

1-How could Noah have built such a large ark by himself or did he have help?-Did his boys help?
2-What were the "springs of the great deep" that helped flood the earth?
3-How was Noah able to build the ark without blue prints, special tools and equipment or special skills?
4-What is "gopher wood" and why was it used?
5-Are all animals, birds, reptiles, insects, etc.,a direct descendent of the flood survivors?

Here are my thoughts for today
1-The love of God is like the ocean, you can see it's beginning but not it's end-
2-Having power and control and being politically correct is not more important than having and showing integrity-
3-You can't change what you don't acknowledge-
4-Happiness relies on circumstances, contentment relies on the state of the heart and mind-
5-Maturity is the price you pay for growing up-
Strange thought-knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad-
I've learned-about 90% of the things that happen to me are good and only about 10%are bad, so to be happy I just have to focus on the 90%-
5 things I want to know
1-Did the great flood cover the entire planet or just the populated earth?
2-At the time of the great flood, were all the continents of the earth populated-if so, were these people destroyed because they also had rejected God?
3-It had not rained before the flood so didn't it seem strange to Noah to build a boat on dry land?
4-How did Noah know how to build such a massive boat?
5-Are the ages of some of the old testament men accurate in todays calendar years?-if so, how could they have lived so long?

2-If God has foreknowledge, didn't He see that the corruption of today would be worse than in the day of Noah?

5-Did Noah have no grandchildren before the flood?

2-We may not always realize that everything we do affects not only our lives but touches others too-
3-A little bit of thoughtfulness shows someone you care and creates a ray of sunshine for both of you to share-
4-Every time you offer someone a helping hand you show a friend you care and understand-
5-Happiness brings happiness and loving ways bring love and giving is the treasure that contentment is made of-
Strange thought-you are only young once but there is no limit to childishness-
I've learned-listen for a beautiful sound, speak a kind word to some person, and do something nice for someone without their knowledge-

1-What was it about the "tree of knowledge of good and evil" that was so attractive to Adam and Eve?
2-When Cain founded the land of Nod, where did all the people come from?
3-Where is the land of Nod and is it a real place?
4-Did Abel have any descendents or was he even married?
5-What happened to Cain's descendents?

3-Encouragement is to friendship what confetti is to a party-you always find little pieces of it stuck to you later-
4-Laugh when you can, apologize when you should and let go of what you can't change-
5-Be kinder than necessary for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle-
Strange thought-clouds are high flying fogs-
I've learned-never underestimate the power and potential of the human spirit-

1-How do we live under the Holy Spirits control?
2-Is confession necessary to receive salvation?
3-When did eternity begin?
4-What happened to the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve left it?

Here are my thoughts for today-
1-The best kind of friend is someone you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word, then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you ever had-
2-May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you happy-
3-Put yourself in the other person's shoes and if that hurts you, it probably hurts them too-
4-The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything, they just make the most of everything that comes their way-
5-When you were born you were crying and all around you were smiling--live your life so that when you die you're the one smiling and all around you are crying-

1-What is the "fruit" that others will know who we are?
