1-Jesus is already in my tomorrow-
2-The grace of God comes from the love of God-
3-I believe that I may know-
4-Discipleship is willingness to go wherever the spirit of God leads-
5-The righteousness of God has its expression in the law of God-

1-The worst thing about accidents in the kitchen is eating them
I'VE LEARNED-Growing old beats the alternative of dying young-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Does the church expect people to be saved in a predetermined and similar way?
2-Is religious activity becoming a substitute for Christian living?
3-Even as Christians, do we often disobey God's Word--have we then sinned?
4-Are some sins more grievous than others?
5-Do all sins have the same consequences?

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Prayer isn't overcoming God's reluctance, it is laying hold of his highest willingness-
2-Take your setback and turn it into a comeback-
3-God loves you even if you deny he exists-
4-God should not be first in your life---he should be your life-
5-Worry is being anxious about something in the future-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Your emotion and your knowledge are related, for the less you know the hotter you get-
I'VE LEARNED-God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do-
DID YOU KNOW-President Harry Truman's middle name was just S and was not short for anything. His parents could not decide between two different names beginning with S.
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Can someone else be a Christian and do something we don't approve of?
2-Can you become a Christian through confirmation?
3-As long as someone asks Jesus into their heart, says the sinners prayer, signs a decision card or follows the four spiritual laws, are they then a part of God's family?
4-Should we take someone's initial positive response to the gospel as absolute assurance they are saved?
5-How much does raising your hand or walking down an aisle to an altar have to do with becoming saved?

1-If we want to make ends meet, we need to get off ours and go out and meet it-

I'VE LEARNED-Cooperation can only be reached if we work together-

1-What is the criteria to being a Christian?
2-Is it possible the church is full of people who aren't Christian and don't know it?
3-Should becoming a Christian be made more difficult to ensure people know what they are doing and not just making an emotional expression?
4-Should becoming a Christian be made easier so more people would want to be included?
5-How can we determine whether another person is a Christian or do we have the ability to judge that?

5-We give so much attention to our problems and not enough to the solutions-

I'VE LEARNED-It is never too late to have a happy childhood, but the second one is up to you and no one else-

I'VE LEARNED-It is okay to let your children cry-
DID YOU KNOW-President Grover Cleveland was a draft dodger. He hired someone to enter the service in his place, for which he was ridiculed by his political opponent, James G Blaine. It was soon discovered, however, that Blaine had done the same thing himself-

1-How often should Christians take communion?

WAY TOO MUCH SNOW!
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-The same father who cares for you today will take care of you tomorrow and every day. Either he will shield you from problems or he will give you unfailing support to deal with it. Be at peace then and put aside all anxious thoughts and worries-
2-Victory is won not in my struggle but in my surrender-
3-Every Bible miracle always begins with a problem and results from obedience-
4-Faith is a better guide than reason. Reason can go only so far but faith has no limits-
5-The Christian life is a marathon race, not a sprint-
STRANGE THOUGHT-My last job was at Starbucks but I had to quit because it was always the same old grind-
I've learned-The less time I have to get something done, the more I get done-
DID YOU KNOW-A short time before president Abraham Lincoln's assassination, he dreamed he was going to die, and he related his dream to the Senate.
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Is all the information we have about the Bible correct?
2-Why was there a transfiguration, and for whose benefit was it?
3-In the Bible, how many times has the voice of God been heard speaking?
4-Will there be Christians found on the earth when Jesus returns?
5-Why did Jesus have Peter to go fishing to catch a fish with a coin in it's mouth in order to pay the temple tax. Judas was the treasurer, didn't he have the money to do so?

1-We are only rich through what we give away and only poor through what we keep-
2-Do not pray for tasks equal to your abilities rather pray for abilities equal to your tasks-
3-There is no happiness if the things we believe in are different from the things we do-
4-Anger is a secondary response to fear-
5-A situation may not change but a person always can-

I'VE LEARNED-Everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you're climbing it-

1-Lord, who can I help today?
2-Consider the incredible love that the Father has shown us in allowing us to be called children of God-
3-The wall you are looking at is really a door-

5-Faith is continuing to run the race confident you will get your second wind-
STRANGE THOUGHT-There is no such thing as an enthusiastic failure-
I'VE LEARNED-Don't trade something crucial for something pleasing-

1-Was God preparing Jesus for 30 years for ministry as a carpenter?

1-When there is love in the heart, there is joy in the home-
2-Love is more than a feeling, it is a commitment-
3-If you want to see rainbows in your life, you will also have to have some rain-
4-When hope is crushed, the heart is crushed-
5-Without honesty, you open the doors to weakness and ultimately defeat-
STRANGE THOUGHT-I had a good job as a historian until I realized there was no future to it.
I'VE LEARNED-When your newly born grandchild holds your little finger in their clenched little fist, you are hooked for life-

1-Is it possible to live a sinless life after being "saved"?
2-What is Hades? Is it hell?

STRANGE THOUGHT-I worked at a zoo feeding giraffes but was fired because I wasn't up to it-
I'VE LEARNED-A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks-
DID YOU KNOW-Abraham Lincoln's mother died when the family dairy cow ate poisonous mushrooms and Mrs. Lincoln drank the milk-

1-Since the Holy Spirit dwells in his people on earth, is he no longer with the father in heaven?
2-Why was the fellowship of God with himself not enough for him that he create man?
3-Why would God want to create man when he knew how desperately wicked he would become-
4-What does it mean-"Jesus coming in Glory"?
5-After becoming a Christian are any acts of sin we do covered by the sacrifice Jesus paid for them or is another repentance necessary?
