WHAT A COOL REFRESHING MORNING IT IS HERE IN CENTRAL ILLINOIS-A NICE RELIEF FROM THE UPPER 90'S IT HAS BEEN-here are my thoughts for today-
1-There is no secular and sacred for the christian, it is all sacred-
2-Just because dreams end doesn't mean it didn't come true once-
3-You have a choice to be a sponge or a sprinkler-
4-You can be a warm fuzzy or a cold prickly-
5-Without a holy sinless savior there is no redemption-

Strange thought-are female moths called myths?

I've learned-if you look for the worst in life and in people, you'll find it, but if you look for the best, you'll find that instead!

Thursday August 30, 2007 thought for the day

SOMEDAY HE IS COMING AGAIN IN THE CLOUDS-IT MAY BE IN OUR LIFETIME OR IT MAY NOT BUT WE ARE TO BE READY WAITING FOR HIS RETURN-here are my thoughts for today-
1-Committing your life to God does not guarantee a problem free life but one of victory in spite
of difficulties-
2-There is a difference in saying "you can take it" and "I surrender it"-
3-If Christians are ashamed of what they believe they look foolish for believing it-
4-No gospel, no salvation-
5-Not accepting the gospel is itself enough to damn a person-

Strange thought-After they make styrofoam, what do they ship it in?

I've learned-my mother is always happy to see me!!

DOES THIS PICTURE STILL MOVE US ANYMORE-IT SHOULD!!-WHAT A PRICE FOR OUR SALVATION!!-here are my thoughts for today-
1-If you hesitate you may lose-
2-Healing does not always come easy for those Jesus heals-
3-Worry-pulling tomorrows clouds over todays sunshine-
4-Life is like a box of chocolates-you never know what is inside-
5-The Bible doesn't say "don't worry"-it say, "cast your cares on Him"-

Strange thought-after eating, do amphibians have to wait one hour before getting out of the water?

I've learned-when your spouse cooks you should compliment everything they fix!!

I've learned-the best way to lose a friend is to loan them money-

GOOD MORNING TO A NEW WEEK-here are my thoughts for today-
1-No matter what we do do improve or alter the way we look, a smile is still the best-
2-Beauty begins on the inside long before it shows on the outside-
3-Fear can keep you up all night but faith makes for a good pillow-
4-Happiness-not getting what you want but being content with what you have-
5-You learn more from your losses than from your winnings-

Strange thought-to err is human, to moo is bovine!

I've learned-self pity is a waste of time-

1-Positive thinking produces positive believing-
2-If you won't write it and sign it, don't say it-
3-Vision without action is a daydream, action without vision is a nightmare-
4-The only people to get even with are those who have helped you-
5-A path or road is nothing unless taken-

Strange thought-character density-the number of strange people in the office-

I've learned-it is taking me a long time to become the person I want to be!-

HERE IS A PICTURE OF AN OLD MAN PRAYING-HAVE YOU TALKED TO GOD YET TODAY-here are my thoughts for today-
1-God can't do anything through us until he is allowed in us-
2-It is not that the eternal existence of God is contrary to reason, rather it is beyond reason-
3-You can't foolishly waste your money and expect God to bless you financially-
4-You can't take advantage of others and not ultimately be taken advantage of yourself-
5-Jesus doesn't restrict your freedom, he extends it-

Strange thought-when aiming for the common denominator, be prepared for the occasional
Division by zero

I've learned-you can't hide a piece of broccoli in a glass of milk!!

LOOKS LIKE OUR ANGEL WAS SLEEPING SOUNDLY-here are my thoughts for today-
1-It is better to have a heart without words than to have words without a heart-
2-If you are going to be convincing, you must be convinced-
3-If a hypocrite is standing between you and God, it means the hypocrite is closer to God
than you are-
4-In order to hide behind something, you've got to be smaller than what you are hiding behind-
5-Confess faults to one another, confess sin only to God-

Strange thought-the high cost of living hasn't affected it's popularity!

1-If you don't know God's love it is because you don't love God-
2-Learn to serve and you learn to love-
3-If you know only the judgement of God it is easy to sin, when you
know the love of God it is difficult to sin-
4-In most cases God is more interested in our living for him than he is in
our dying for him-
5-A good teacher learns more than a good student-

Strange thought-he who dies with the most money is nonetheless still dead

1-People are more interested in being religious than being righteous-
2-If you can't be generous when it is hard you won't be when it is easy-
3-The God who made you can make you over-
4-As Christians we must be careful that what we do does not have the appearance of evil-
5-Christians are not perfect but they are saved-

Strange thought-College is a fountain of knowledge and the students are there to drink-

1-The Bible will keep you from sin and sin will keep you from the Bible-
2-Goliath was out there all by himself but David had God with him-

4-Worry-stewing without doing-

LOOKS LIKE NOAH HAS A LITTLE PROBLEM WITH THE WOODPECKERS-here are my thoughts for today-
1-We don't know what the future holds but we do know who holds the future-
2-The Bible clearly says that as we give out it will come back to us-
3-If you want to have faith, share your faith--if you want love, give love-if you want happiness, make others happy-
4-Christianity is not a way of doing certain things, but a certain way of doing all things-
5-Faith-something better than 20/20 vision-

Strange thought-if you take a lap top computer for a run, you could jog your memory!

A BEAUTIFUL SUNSET-WE DID RECEIVE A LITTLE RAIN YESTERDAY AND WHATEVER WE RECEIVED WAS HELPFUL BUT WE STILL NEED SEVERAL INCHES MORE- here are my thoughts for today-
1- Your christian attitude should be contagious-
2-God has no grandchildren-
3-If you don't want to share, it is likely you have nothing to share-
4-If you are not living in the will of God, you are uncomfortable in the word of God-
5-Don't let your conscience be your guide-

Strange thought-The professor discovered her theory of earth quakes was on shaky ground!

WE ARE STILL BAKING UNDER A DRY SPELL BUT THIS PICTURE SURE LOOKS NICE
AND REFRESHING-here are my thoughts for today-
1-You will know the will of God when you know the word of God-
2-If you don't know what God is saying you aren't reading his word-
3-Pleasure is always temporary and constantly demands a greater high-
4-God gives us the ingredients for our daily bread but he expects us to do the baking-
5-God does not change what he does not own-

DO YOU ALL REMEMBER YOUR LITTLE ONES WHEN THEY WERE LIKE THIS-DOESN'T SEEM THAT LONG AGO DOES IT-WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE?-here are my thoughts for today-
1-You can no more be negative and Christian than you can be atheist and Christian-
2-There is no such thing as a "Sunday Christian"-
3-If you pray you don't need to worry and if you don't pray it does you no good to worry-
4-The more you thank God for what you have the more you will have to thank God for-
5-God is Lord of all or he is not Lord at all-

Strange thought-thieves who steal corn from a garden should be charged with stalking!

I've learned-if you pursue happiness it will elude you, but if you focus on your family, the needs of others, your relationship to God and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you!

1-Blame keeps wounds open-
2-Enthusiasm is the yeast that makes your hopes rise to the stars-
3-When you turn to God, you discover he has been facing you all the time-
4-You can no more do God's work without God than you can have sunshine without the sun-
5-Repentance-being sorry for what you've done and sorry enough to do something about it-

Strange thoughts-a thief fell and broke his leg in wet cement-he became a hardened criminal!
