Here are my thoughts for today-
1-You cannot be too careful in your choice of enemies-
2-You've achieved success in your field when you don't know whether what you are doing is work or play-
3-If you always tell the truth you don't have to remember anything-
4-It is not as important to see what lies dimly in the future as it is to do what lies clearly at hand-
5-A good home is made not bought-

Strange thought-a person without principal doesn't draw much interest-

I've learned-once you get started doing nothing it is hard to quit-

5 things I want to know
1-Since Jesus was God and God never dies, how could Jesus have died?
2-Why wasn't Jesus more direct and explicit in telling who he was?
3-Was Jesus's brother James a believer in who Jesus really was?
4-Did any of Jesus's siblings believe he was the messiah?
5-Is it reasonable to believe that evil spirits are responsible for some illnesses and bizarre behavior?

Scripture for today-Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7 (NLT)

DO YOU SEE THE FACE?
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-There is no greater reward than making a life changing difference in someone's life-
2-Forget hurts but never forget kindness-
3-Without winter, spring would not be so pleasant-
4-When you make a world tolerable for yourself, you make a world tolerable for others-
5-No matter where you go, no matter the weather, always bring your own sunshine-

Strange thought-when a spouse is on the warpath, expect a call to active duty-

I've learned-if you mortgage the present for the future, then today doesn't matter-

5 things I want to know
1-Which is of greater significance-the fruit or the gifts of the spirit?
2-Do Christians have all the fruits of the spirit all of the time?
3-Can we be loving to everyone?
4-Why does the gospel of John refer to Jesus as "the word"?
5-What gentiles did Jesus seek out to minister to whole on earth?

Scripture for today-For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king. 1 Samuel 15:23 (NKJV) -----"it is a terrible thing if the Lord rejects you"!!!(my comment)

1-When was Jesus born?
2-Why doesn't the bible say when Jesus was born?
3-Why do we celebrate Christmas on December 25?
4-When did December 25th become the celebration of Jesus birth?
5-What is the most important thing Jesus ever said?

2-How could God be maintained in a human body?

4-Did Jesus have all of God's attributes as a man?

1-We life our lives forward but understand them backwards-

4-The nice thing about flattery is that you don't need to believe it to enjoy it-
5-It is not so important where we are standing as in which direction we are moving-

Strange thought-the family that rakes together aches together-

I've learned-it is better to die with a good name than to live with a bad one-

1-How many times in the bible were a large group of people fed bread and yet have leftovers?
2-Are supernatural events happening all around us that are invisible to the natural eye?
3-How is it possible that we could do more than what Jesus did?
4-Can you give thanks without a grateful heart?
5-What was Jonah's final outcome?

1-How many children did David have altogether?
2-How could one man (ex.-David -Solomon) satisfy so many wives and concubines?
3-Where was the Queen of Sheeba from?
4-How could Solomon be so wise and yet marry foreign women?
5-Did Solomon ever repent of his disobedience to God?

I've learned-a person's true character is revealed by what they do when no one is watching-

1-Does God's forgiveness negate the consequences of the acts of sin?
2-Why does God allow innocent victims?
3-How old was David and Bathsheeba's first son when he died?
4-What was the name of David and bathsheeba's first son that died?
5-Why did God bless David and Bathsheeba with the son Soloman when their marriage was the result of an immoral act?

I've learned-there is a name for people who are not excited about their work-unemployed-

1-Is it possible to contact the dead as Saul did?
2-What ultimately happened to the Phillistine people?
3-Why was having multiple wives in the old testament permitted?
4-Why did men of God in the old testament have concubines?
5-In scripture, when was polygamy no longer accepted?

1-You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who can do nothing for them or to them-
2-The generosity of God knows no bounds and is no respecter of persons-
3-Many people think they are Christians by doing and/or not doing certain things-
4-There are no spiritual stages to god's mercy-
5-Worship is a relinquishing of control-

Strange thought-all money talks, but all says is "goodbye"-

I've learned-patience is a quality you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead of you-

5 things I want to know
1-Can man ever get God to change his mind?
2-How was it that David was such a good marksman with a sling shot?
3-Was David's slingshot a shepherd boys toy or a warriors weapon?
4-Why was Jonathan not upset he wouldn't be the next king of Israel?
5-Was it okay for Jonathan to lie about David to Saul?

Scripture for today-the end of the matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride-do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools Ecclesiastes 7:8,9

1-It is only when we learn to see ourselves through other people's eyes that we see ourselves as we really are-
2-We all need people around us with enough courage and love to tell us the truth about ourselves-
3-"Perfect" people are always lonely because no one wants to be around them-
4-Nothing touches you more deeply than pain-
5-We don't like mercy being given to those who haven't paid the price and don't deserve it-

Strange thought-churches are a life boat not a cruise ship-

I've learned-your companions are like buttons on an elevator-they will either take you up or they will take you down-

5 things I want to know
1-Is it ever too late to come to God?
2-Is God always merciful?
3-Why do children of "righteous" people so often reject their parents ways?
4-Who was Samuel's wife?
5-Can you be so heavenly minded you are no earthly good?

WHO IS GOING TO USE THIS??
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-The bible is a book about salvation and redemption-
2-Only when a person has realized their guilt can the mercy of God come into play-
3-If I judge even one person, I'm saying that judgement is the basis of which I want everyone evaluated, myself included-
4-Being faithful is not the same as being perfect for faithfulness allows for failure, perfection does not-
5-Obtaining greatness is not making everyone else lower than ourselves in our own mind-

Strange thought-patience requires a lot of wait-

I've learned-your decisions can take you out of God's will but never out of his reach-

5 things I want to know-
1-What is a "kinsman redeemer"?
2-Was their plural marriages is the old testament?
3-Who was the kinsman redeemer who didn't marry Ruth?
4-What relation was Boaz to Naomi and Ruth?
5-Is all adversity and hardship the result of God's actions or displeasure with us?

Strange thought-an oak tree is a nut that held it's ground-

I've learned-your temper is like a fire, it gets very destructive when it gets out of control-

1-Was the conquest of the promised land by the Israelites ever completed? If so, when? If not, why not?
2-What were Gideon's torches made of?
3-What were the places called "high places" in the old testament?
4-What was a Nazarite vow and how long did it last?
5-Was cutting his hair the only Nazarite vow that Samson broke?

1-How many times was water parted for the Israelites to safely cross to the other side?
2-Why did the walls of Jericho fall outward?
3-In the old testament what was the "water of impurity" and what was it used for?
4-What was the exact weight of a shekal?
5-How many judges ruled Israel?

3-What is the significance of the table of shew bread?
4-How many loaves of bread were on the table in the tabernacle and why?
5-Why was the promised land called a land of milk and honey?

5-When God does not do what we want we often erroneously conclude he does not love us-

Strange thought-if a rabbit's foot is lucky, what happened tot he rabbit?

I've learned-it is better to be silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt-

5 things I want to know
1-In the Exodus, how could a desert oasis be large enough for nearly 2 million people and their animals?
2-How were the Israelites able to defend themselves in the 40 years in the wilderness?
3-At MT. Sinai, why did the Israelites chose a golden calf to worship rather than some other animal?
4-When the Israelites left Egypt, why did they want to take the Egyptian gold, silver and jewelry?
5-How long was Moses on MT. Sinai getting god's commandments?

Strange thought-if you think you are a person of some influence, try making someone else's dog mind-

I've learned-remember the banana for when it leaves the bunch it gets skinned-

5 things I want to know-
1-Was there a significance to each plague sent to the Israelites in Egypt?
2-Was it demeaning for Moses to tend sheep after living in pharaoh's household?
3-Why would pharaoh have received Moses and his brother Aaron?
4-Were all the pharaohs Egyptian?
5-How long would it have taken for nearly 2 million Israelites and their animals to leave Egypt?

Here are my thoughts for today-
1-A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity, an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty-
2-When you reach for the stars you may not quite get one, but you won't come up with a handful of mud either-
3-It is so much easier to be critical than to be correct-
4-If you don't have the strength to impose your own terms on life, you must accept the terms it offers you-
5-Confidence comes not from always being right but from not fearing to be wrong-

Strange thought-letting the cat out of the bag is a lot easier than putting it back in-

I've learned-if you are waiting for something to turn up, you might start with your own sleeves-

5 things I want to know
1-Who was the Pharaoh that decreed all Hebrew baby boys be killed?
2-Was Moses being raised to be a future pharaoh of Egypt?
3-When did Moses know he was Hebrew?
4-Why did Moses go to the land of Midian after killing the Egyptian?
5-Why did God harden pharaoh's heart after each plaque to not let the Hebrew people leave Egypt?

Scripture for today-He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city-Proverbs 16:2

THE ELECTRIC CAR IS ALREADY HERE!
Here are my thoughts for today-
1-When the world pushes you to your knees, you are in the perfect position to pray-
2-The phrase "why worry when you can pray" should be "why worry when you can trust God"
3-Praying isn't telling God how worried, unhappy or bad your situation is but telling God how you will believe and trust him to work things out-
4-If a million people say a foolish dthing, it is still a foolish thing-
5-Wise men talk because they have something to say. fools talk because they have to say something-

Strange thought-good judgement comes from experience and much of that comes from bad judgement-

I've learned-patience is the ability to keep your motor idling while you feel like stripping your gears-

5 things I want to know
1-How could Egypt have had such a more advanced culture than Israel in bible times?
2-Why was Egypt not a nomadic society like Israel in old/new testament times?
3-Why did pharaoh give Jacob's family their own separate land in which to live?
4-Why didn't the Israelites return to Israel from Egypt after the 7 year famine was over?
5-Why would pharaoh's daughter rescue a Hebrew baby from the water?

Scripture for today-Live together in harmony, live together in love, as though you had only one mind and one spirit between you … in humility think more of each other than you do of yourselves. Philippians 2:3-4

1-Silence is sometimes the best answer-
2-Don't interfere with something that isn't bothering you-
3-Timing has a lot to do with a rain dance-
4-If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging-
5-Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly, and leave the rest to God-

Strange thought-sometimes you get and sometimes you get got-

I've learned-the grass looks greener on the other side but it still has to be mowed-

5 things I want to know
1-Why did God speak to old testament people in dreams?-can or does God do it today?
2-Why doesn't God speak to people in an audible voice?
3-What is the difference in dreams and visions?
4-Whatever happened to Potipher's wife after accusing Joseph of misconduct?
5-Why did God chose to continue the nation of Israel through Joseph's brothers (ten tribes of Israel) when they were so evil?

Scripture for today- Jesus said, “Why do you look at the speck in another’s eye and pay no attention to the log in your own eye? … First take the log out of your own eye, and then you will be able to see clearly” Matthew 7:3-5

Strange thought-how is it that we put a man on the moon before we figured out it would be a good idea to put wheels on luggage?

I've learned-when God measures a man he puts the tape around the heart instead of the head-

1-How do you balance the wrath of God with the love of God?
2-How could Jacob be so blessed when he was a deceiver and conniver?
3-Early biblical marriages had no official ceremony so when did it start?
4-Why did Jacob favor Joseph over his other sons?
5-Why did Jacob give the cloak to Joseph knowing it would cause family jealousy?
