OFF TO THE RACES
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-After Jesus sacrifice, there was no more need for animal sacrifices-
2-Jesus work of salvation is complete but the progressive work of salvation is ongoing-
3-Jesus offers not a single drink of water but a perpetual artesian well-
4-Marriage is both a done deal and a daily development, something you did and something you do-
5-The blood of Jesus does not cover our sins, conceal our sins, postpone our sins or diminish our sins, it removes our sins for good-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Where do words go when they are spoken or a song go when it is sung?
I'VE LEARNED-Life isn't fair but it is still good-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Does God ever get tired of us complaining?
2-Is it in the tough times of life that we get to know God the best?
3-How was Moses able to approach and talk to Pharaoh?
4-Why did God go through all the plagues to soften Pharaoh's heart--why not directly to the last one since God knew which one Pharaoh would respond to?
5-Why did Pharaoh tolerate Moses returning time after time?
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY PSALM 63
1 God, you are my God. I search for you. I thirst for you like someone in a dry, empty land where there is no water.
2 I have seen you in the Temple and have seen your strength and glory.
3 Because your love is better than life, I will praise you.
4 I will praise you as long as I live. I will lift up my hands in prayer to your name.
5 I will be content as if I had eaten the best foods. My lips will sing, and my mouth will praise you.
6 I remember you while I'm lying in bed; I think about you through the night.
7 You are my help. Because of your protection, I sing.
8 I stay close to you; you support me with your right hand.
9 Some people are trying to kill me, but they will go down to the grave.
10 They will be killed with swords and eaten by wild dogs.
11 But the king will rejoice in his God. All who make promises in his name will praise him, but the mouths of liars will be shut.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
