FRIENDS
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-A thorn with grace is better than a thornless and graceless life-
2-Life is not so short but that there is always enough time for courtesy-
3-To be well mannered is simply to be considerate of others-
4-Joy comes from perceiving the gift hidden in every circumstance-
5-When you pickup mud with white gloves, the mud does not get glovey, the gloves get muddy-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Beggars do not envy millionaires, but they will envy other beggars who are more successful-
I'VE LEARNED-Follow your heart and never surrender your dreams-
DID YOU KNOW-The Queen of England has two birthdays--one real and one official-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Did Jesus have nieces and nephews?
2-Are Christians to follow the example of the giving of the widows mite?
3-When Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey, was this the only time he had ever done so?
4-Did Mary of Bethany anoint Jesus' feet or his head?--Matthew, Mark and John don't all agree?
5-From Judas viewpoint, what was his betrayal of Jesus all about?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Who told Pilate that a worrisome dream made it clear that Pilate was to have nothing to do with Jesus?
Yesterday's answer-Darius (Daniel 5:31)
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY PSALM 137:1-9
1 By the river in Babylon we sat and cried when we remembered Jerusalem.
2 On the poplar trees nearby we hung our harps.
3 Those who captured us asked us to sing; our enemies wanted happy songs. They said, "Sing us a song about Jerusalem!"
4 But we cannot sing songs about the Lord while we are in this foreign country!
5 Jerusalem, if I forget you, let my right hand lose its skill.
6 Let my tongue stick to the roof of my mouth if I do not remember you, if I do not think about Jerusalem as my greatest joy.
7 Lord, remember what the Edomites did on the day Jerusalem fell. They said, "Tear it down! Tear it down to its foundations!"
8 People of Babylon, you will be destroyed. The people who pay you back for what you did to us will be happy.
9 They will grab your babies and throw them against the rocks.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
