Friday July 2, 2010 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY-
1-There are no treasures greater than friends-
2-Friends are those who, when you've made a fool of yourself, don't think you've done a permanent job-
3-Faith is daring the soul to go farther than it can see-
4-Joy is not the absence of suffering, but the presence of God-
5-Come my love, grow old with me, the best of life is yet to be-
STRANGE THOUGHT-If it were not for the TV inventor, we's be eating frozen radio dinners-
I'VE LEARNED-Grandma's cookies didn't need preservatives for they didn't last that long-
DID YOU KNOW-Disney's Donald Duck's middle name if Fauntleroy. His sister is named Dumbella.
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Will the anti Christ be a Muslim?
2-Will the false prophet organize all world religions into a one world religion which will worship the anti Christ?
3-Will the USA force Israel into accepting a 7 year peace treaty negotiated by the one who will be the anti Christ?
4-Will the anti Christ control the financial world through control of the world's oil?
5-Are Christianity, Judaism and Islam the only religions involved in the tribulation and end times?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Who sent Cushi to run to David with the news of Absalom's death?
Yesterday's answer-Abraham
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY MARK 14:66-72
66 While Peter was in the courtyard, a servant girt of the high priest came there.
67 She saw Peter warming himself at the fire and looked closely at him. Then she said. "You also were with Jesus, that man from Nazareth."
68 But Peter said that he was never with Jesus. He said, "I don't know or understand what you are talking about." then Peter left and went toward the entrance of the courtyard. And the rooster crowed.
69 The servant girl saw Peter there, and again she said to the people who were standing nearby, "This man is one of those who followed Jesus."
70 Again Peter said that is was not true. A short time later, some people were standing near Peter saying, "Surely you are one of those who followed Jesus, because you are from Galilee, too."
71 Then Peter began to place a curse on himself and swear, "I don't know this man you're talking about!"
72 At once, the rooster crowed the second time. Then Peter remembered what Jesus had told him: "Before the rooster crows twice, you will say three times that you don't know me." Then Peter lost control of himself and began to cry.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
