HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

1-You alone are responsible for your feelings-

2-To resolve a conflict, focus on the problem and not who is at fault-

3-Anger is a solution of choice to a problem you face-

4-Sharing anger in a loving way expresses love-

5-Unresolved conflict causes frustration which causes anger-

STRANGE THOUGHT-When a person is in love for the first time, they think they invented it-

I'VE LEARNED-God is never in a hurry but he is always on time-

DID YOU KNOW-An anthropophagite eats people

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW-

1-How long a trip in distance and time did the wise men travel?

2-Could there have been other wise men who started out but didn't finish the trip?

3-How were the wise men able to purchase such expensive gifts?

4-Could the wise men have been angels instead of humans?

5-Wouldn't the wise men have faced robbers along the way wanting to take their expensive gifts?

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY LUKE 20:1-8

Jewish Leaders Question Jesus

¹ One day Jesus was in the Temple, teaching the people and telling them the Good News. The leading priests, teachers of the law, and elders came up to talk with him, ² saying, "Tell us what authority you have to do these things? Who gave you this authority?"

³ Jesus answered, "I will also ask you a question. Tell me: ⁴ When John baptized people, was that authority from God or just from other people?"

⁵ They argued about this, saying, "If we answer, 'John's baptism was from God,' Jesus will say, 'Then why did you not believe him?'⁶ But if we say, 'It was from other people,' all the people will stone us to death, because they believe John was a prophet."⁷ So they answered that they didn't know where it came from.

⁸ Jesus said to them, "Then I won't tell you what authority I have to do these things."
