HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

1-The Bible is a plumb line for a balanced life-

2-Don't ever say never-

3-How you listen is more important than what you say-

4-Storms make trees take deeper roots-

5-Example is the primary thing in influencing others-

STRANGE THOUGHT-It is possible to have too much and not enough at the same time-

I'VE LEARNED-An expert knows all the answers, if you ask the right questions-

DID YOU KNOW-The Kentucky Fried Chicken slogan "Finger lickin' good" came out as "Eat you fingers off" in Chinese-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-Are hope and faith related?

2-Can you hope for the impossible?

3-Can you hope for a negative thing?

4-Is being a positive person learned or are you born that way?

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY HEBREWS 5:1-6

¹ Every high priest is chosen from among other people. He is given the work of going before God for them to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins.² Since he himself is weak, he is able to be gentle with those who do not understand and who are doing wrong things. ³ Because he is weak, the high priest must offer sacrifices for his own sins and also for the sins of the people.

⁴ To be a high priest is an honor, but no one chooses himself for this work. He must be called by God as Aaron was. ⁵ So also Christ did not choose himself to have the honor of being a high priest, but God chose him. God said to him,
"You are my Son.
Today I have become your Father." — Psalm 2:7

⁶ And in another Scripture God says,
"You are a priest forever,
a priest like Melchizedek." — Psalm 110:4
