HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

1-In most religions good works are done "in order to", in Christianity good works are "therefore"-

2-Without God's grace, we cannot come to him or continue in him-

3-Those of us who have heard the gospel untold times must beware lest we become gospel hardened-

4-Don't let yesterday's failures bankrupt today's efforts-

5-Anyone who keeps the ability to see beauty never grows old-

STRANGE THOUGHT-Sometimes when you hold out for everything you end up with nothing-

I'VE LEARNED-You speak loudest through your actions-

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY Galatians 3:19-20

¹⁹ So what was the law for? It was given to show that the wrong things people do are against God's will. And it continued until the special descendant, who had been promised, came. The law was given through angels who used Moses for a mediator to give the law to people.²⁰ But a mediator is not needed when there is only one side, and God is only one.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, because of our human nature we are often drawn to activities and things that have no lasting or eternal value. But we want to earnestly pursue those opportunities which help us to honor You and keep us grounded in the life You have instructed us to live. A half hearted believer is torn between serving You and the world, so help us to be wholehearted in following You. Then we will be more and more passionate about our walk with You which will naturally turn our eyes away from worthless things. Thank You for preserving our lives not only here, but for all eternity! Amen.
