Wednesday April 26, 2017 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Just as gold cannot be refined without fire, so faith is rarely strengthened without heartbreak and sorrow-
2-Patience is the companion of wisdom-
3-Those who forget who they are inevitably forget how they should live-
4-Often, far more is accomplished by waiting than by working-
5-What you give away in life always comes back to you in one way or another-

STRANGE THOUGHT
The original name for butterfly was flutterby-

I'VE LEARNED
It is very hard to keep abundance in proper balance-

DID YOU KNOW
All the stars in the Milky Way revolve around the center of the galaxy every two hundred million years-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-What is the "fruit" by which others will know who we are?
2-Did Jesus really drink true wine or just sanctified grape juice?
3-Why don't we have God's  "miracle" power demonstrated in our lives?
4-Is our "old sinful nature" ever removed from our lives?
5-How do we become "filled" with God's Spirit?

BIBLE TRIVIA
Who said   “You decide what God would want. Should we obey you or God?"
Answer for today    Peter and John

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY
Matthew 6:22-23   The eye is a light for the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eyes are evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. And if the only light you have is really darkness, then you have the worst darkness.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

Father, may your Spirit help me to have a clear vision of the eternal, and to live for that-

LIVE SIMPLY! LOVE GENEROUSLY! CARE DEEPLY! SPEAK KINDLY! LEAVE THE REST WITH GOD!
