THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-If our belief in God is rooted solely in the shallow soil of human emotions, this shallowness will be evident in the fruit that our faith produces-

2-If people are not on your heart, they will get on your nerves-

3-The greatest example of forgiving was by Jesus when he hung on a cross saying "father, forgive them for they know not what they do"-

4-God cannot give us peace and happiness apart from himself because there is no such thing-

5-The only domestic animal not mentioned in the bible is the cat-

Common sense is as flower that doesn't grow in everyone's garden-

1-Were there other men during Jesus life who claimed to be the messiah?

2-Why didn't the religious leaders recognize Jesus birth as the fulfillment of the many prophecies concerning it-

3-Why do the Jews of today not accept Jesus as their messiah?

4-Did the Magi see a single star or an alignment of stars?

5-Why would the Magi know what the star/stars meant?

Hebrews 6:9-12     Dear friends, we are saying this to you, but we really expect better things from you that will lead to your salvation. ¹⁰ God is fair; he will not forget the work you did and the love you showed for him by helping his people. And he will remember that you are still helping them. ¹¹ We want each of you to go on with the same hard work all your lives so you will surely get what you hope for. ¹² We do not want you to become lazy. Be like those who through faith and patience will receive what God has promised.
