1-It is no less a sin not to rejoice than not to repent-

3-Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will-

4-If passion drives you, let reason hold the reins

5-Being a part of the body of Jesus is not about singing solo but about enjoying being a member of the choir-

We say the cause of perfume disappearing is evaporation.  Evaporation gets blamed for a lot of things.  People forget to put the top back on-

 

I'VE LEARNED

One way of receiving God's blessing in your life is to be merciful to others

If we had the same mortality rate as in the 1900s, more than half the people in the world today would not be alive-

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-Be satisfied with your lot even if you don't have a lot-

2-It isn't what you have in your pocket that makes you thankful.  But what you have in your heart-

3-As the Lord loves a cheerful giver so likewise a cheerful thanks giver-

4-Those blessing are sweetest that are won with prayers and worn with thanks-

5-"I find in what soever state I am there with to be content". This was said by a man who was unfairly treated, unjustly jailed and a victim of the executioner's axe.

 

STRANGE THOUGHT

Some people can tell time by looking at the sun.  I have never been able to make out the numbers-

1-Individual wealth is not automatically a sign of God's blessing-

2-Money is neutral, neither good or evil.  It is what we do with our money that matters-

3-People who give freely receive freely-

4-The USA is no where found in the Bible-

5-Thanksgiving is good, thanks living is better-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT

Vacuums are nothings.  We only mention them to let them know we know they are there-

Everything we do is motivated by something-

 

DID YOU KNOW

LIfe on earth probably developed in an oxygen free atmosphere.  Even today there are microorganisms that can live only in the absence of oxygen-

1-Is heaven a part of another dimension we don't yet understand?

2-Where was God before he created time and space?

3-Where was Enoch taken to?

4-Has any other person been taken like Enoch.  If yes, who?  If not, why not?

1-When the young prodigal son returned home, there wasn't a list of anger and criticism toward him by the father-

2-The father in the prodigal son story represents God, implying to the older son that his love for both sons is not dependent on their performance-

3-God first establishes your faithfulness in the small assignments before he offers you bigger ones-

4-A good model for life--make prayer your practice, make trust your pastime and make obedience your pattern and never waver-

5-We live in a world where everything goes but nothing seems to satisfy-
