PRAYER FOR TODAY

 

Father, thank you for calling me to know you and for enabling me to live a life that pleases you. Thank you for your grace that sustains me in the difficult times.

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-Your decisions determine your character, conduct and destiny-

2-If you want to be Godly and successful, spend time with Godly successful people-

3-Saying what is on your mind is a lack of self control-

4-Anger is a negative habit that opens the door to satan-

5-Gratitude is the greatest deterrent to unhealthy personal pride-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT

If you have 3 quarters, 4 dimes, and 4 pennies, you have $1.19.  This is the largest amount of money in coins without being able to make change for a dollar-

 

I'VE LEARNED

It is much better to have common sense without education than to have education without common sense-

1-Why did the Jewish people hate the Samaritans?

2-Was Joseph absent form Jesus' adult life?

3-People with leprosy in Biblical Israel were treated as outcasts, but when the Syrian general Namaan came to Elisha for healing he was not.  Why not?

4-The book of the Law (containing the ten commandments) written by Moses was a guideline for people who were obedient to God.  Why is it not followed by Christians today?

Romans 3:23-25      Everyone has sinned and fallen short of God’s glorious standard, ²⁴ and all need to be made right with God by his grace, which is a free gift. They need to be made free from sin through Jesus Christ. ²⁵ God sent him to die in our place to take away our sins. We receive forgiveness through faith in the blood of Jesus’ death. This showed that God always does what is right and fair, as in the past when he was patient and did not punish people for their sins.

 

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father, I thank you today for your redeeming grace.  You knew my sins and saw my need.  You let your Son die, let him shed his blood and pass over my sins-

 

TODAY WILL NEVER COME AGAIN. BE A BLESSING, BE A FRIEND, ENCOURAGE SOMEONE, TAKE TIME TO CARE. LET YOUR WORDS AND ACTIONS HEAL AND NOT WOUND-

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-We should always be content but not complacent-

2-Success and happiness are never an accident but the result of intentional living-

3-You reap the harvest in your future of the seeds you sow in your present-

4-Victory does not come in a day, it comes daily-

5-Don't be driven by your problems, be led by your dreams-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT

Bruce Lee was so fast that they actually had to slow a film down so you could see his moves.  That is the opposite of the norm-

 

I'VE LEARNED

Forgiveness doesn't change the past but it can enlarge the future-

 

DID YOU KNOW

The fastest dog, the greyhound, can reach speeds of up to forty five miles per hour-

 

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-Why didn't God create Adam and Eve at the same time as he did with the animals?

2-How many children did Adam and eve have?

3-If you love God with all your soul, mind and strength will you also love your neighbor as yourself?

4-If God knows everything, why can't he find a way to convince everyone to become believers in him?

5-Are supernatural events happening all around us which are invisible to the human eye?
