THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-When we let the sun go down on our anger, we then fall out of love with the one we are angry with-

2-There’s got to be a morning after. If I can hold on through the night, I have a chance to find the sunshine, if I keep looking for the light-

3-What love cannot solve it will endure with sweetness-

4-What we do not resolve, we repeat-

5-My biggest problem is with myself-

When all you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail-

Jesus statement “do not judge” is not a blanket command against all critical thinking, but a call to be discerning  rather than negative-

DID YOU KNOW

1-Did Jesus have a will of his own? 

2-When a saved person sins, do they lose their salvation? 

3-Do all Old Testament scriptures apply to todays living?

1-God can use a set back to move you ahead-

3-If we are going to be effective for God we must have good self esteem-

1-A child is someone who passes through your life and then disappears into an adult-

3-Being a Biblical Christian is more than being a cultural Christian-

I try to avoid things that make me fat, like scales, mirrors, and photographs-

1-Isn’t it amazing what God can do and does do with our limited surrender to him-

2-Anger can only exist in a state of unforgiveness-

3-Anger blocks forgiveness, forgiveness negates anger-

4-Wise people learn from their mistakes-

5-All I have seen teaches me to trust the creator for all I have not seen-

I got called “pretty” today.  Well, actually the full statement was “you are pretty annoying”-

1-The wounds of a friend are better than the praise of an enemy-

2-One reason we don’t anticipate the return of Jesus is because we have it so good today-

Worrying keeps us from real challenges God wants us to pursue-

1-Can the Holy Spirit live in a life that is not totally committed to Jesus?

2-Why didn’t God create all men with an innate desire to worship him?

5-If sin is a choice, can the unsaved chose not to sin?

5-Does being under grace for the Christian mean that if they sin, it is forgiven by God?
