HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

1-A day without the Lord is a day wasted-

2-Thank God for the stuff that doesn't hit you-

3-Life is like a mirror.  We get the best results when we smile-

4-The trouble with socialism is that you eventually run out of other peoples money-

5-Duty makes us do things well, but love makes us do them beautifully-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT-A sobering thought-what if at this moment I am living up to my full potential?

 

I'VE LEARNED-There is something wrong if you are always right-

 

DID YOU KNOW-Bacteria, the tiniest free living cells, are so small that a single drop of liquid contains as many as fifty million of them-

 

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-Other than being born in Bethlehem, did Jesus live in Nazareth al his life?

2-Where did Jesus live or call home during his 3 years of ministry?

3-Were all of Jesus' siblings born in Nazareth?

4-What kind of older brother would Jesus have been to his younger siblings?

5-Did Jesus have any sister siblings?

 

BIBLE TRIVIA-What judge and prophet built an altar to the Lord at Ramah?

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY    John 17:13-19

¹³ “I am coming to you now. But I pray these things while I am still in the world so that these followers can have all of my joy in them. ¹⁴ I have given them your teaching. And the world has hated them, because they don’t belong to the world, just as I don’t belong to the world. ¹⁵ I am not asking you to take them out of the world but to keep them safe from the Evil One. ¹⁶ They don’t belong to the world, just as I don’t belong to the world. ¹⁷ Make them ready for your service through your truth; your teaching is truth. ¹⁸ I have sent them into the world, just as you sent me into the world. ¹⁹ For their sake, I am making myself ready to serve so that they can be ready for their service of the truth.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, I ask for discernment that I may understand Your statutes. I pray for understanding that I might know how to implement these truths into my life. I also pray that I will grow to love and embrace Your laws so that it becomes a natural outflow of my commitment in following You. Amen.
