comfortable-

and when you need it-

DID YOU KNOW-Twenty years make up a vicennial period-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-When trying to understand what the number 666 means, which language
should be used-Hebrew, Greek, Latin,English, etc?
2-Why do some ancient editions of Revelations say the number is 616?
3-Was Nero the man being referred to as 666?
4-Was Nero the antichrist or is he still to come?
5-Is heaven out of this world?

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY John 19:25-27
5 Standing near his cross were Jesus’ mother, his mother’s
sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus
saw his mother and the follower he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother,
“Dear woman, here is your son.” 27 Then he
said to the follower, “Here is your mother.” From that
time on, the follower took her to live in his home.
PRAYER FOR
TODAY
Father, we who find the answers to life in the Scriptures have
also found the peace that comes with knowing Jesus as our Saviour. There is a
restlessness and unending struggle for those who set out to rewrite that which
has already been written for all time; the manual for all people of every
nation, inspired by the Holy Spirit. We thank You for the Bible, Your holy
instructions that teach, inspire, and give us faith for that which we don’t
understand or have not yet experienced. The cross is foolishness to those who
don’t believe, but for us who place our trust in Your plan for our salvation,
cherish the old rugged cross so despised by the world. Keep us faithful and
trusting until all is fully revealed in Your divine time.
Amen.
