HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-Evil prevails only as long as God allows it-

2-God is able to bring good out of tragedy-

3-Work while trusting God and also rest while trusting God-

4-God doesn't keep a record of our sins for when he forgives, he forgives completely-

5-Pride results from over valuing ourselves and undervaluing others-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT-Praying is planting-

 

I'VE LEARNED-Building a reputation of integrity is built one act at a time-

 

DID YOU KNOW-The infinity character on the keyboard is called a lemniscate-

 

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-What does the Bible mean saying "To know Christ and the power of his resurrection"?

2-Did timothy ever rejoin Paul before Paul died?

3-What was the date and circumstances of Paul's death?

4-What was the last letter Paul wrote?

5-Did any of Jesus' brothers believe in him as the messiah?  If so, who did and when did they do so?

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY   Luke 2:36-38

³⁶ There was a prophetess, Anna, from the family of Phanuel in the tribe of Asher. Anna was very old. She had once been married for seven years. ³⁷ Then her husband died, and she was a widow for eighty-four years. Anna never left the Temple but worshiped God, going without food and praying day and night. ³⁸ Standing there at that time, she thanked God and spoke about Jesus to all who were waiting for God to free Jerusalem.

 

PRAYER FOR THE DAY 

Father, it is in the testing of our faith that we prove the worth of our Christian walk. Help us to endure the test and trust You for the outcome, for we know that faith that cannot be tested is faith that cannot be trusted. O for grace to trust You more and more.  In Jesus’ name we pray.
