HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-To be well mannered is simply to be considerate of others-

2-Joy comes from perceiving the gift hidden in every circumstance-

3-When you pick up mud with white gloves on your hand, the mud doesn't get glovey, the gloves get muddy-

4-Worry is interest paid on trouble before it comes due-

5-Don't be possessed by a possession-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT-Democracy is four wolves and a lamb voting on lunch-

 

I'VE LEARNED-To ignore the facts does not change the facts-

 

DID YOU KNOW-The holes in flyswaters are used to lower air resistance-

 

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-Is there such a thing as socially acceptable sins?

2-Has the church accepted gossip, jealousy and selfishness as acceptable behavior?

3-Which was the nation God promised Abraham that he would make great?

4-Trusting in God made Abraham righteous, does it do the same for us today?

5-Has lying become socially acceptable?

1 Shout to the Lord, all the earth.
² Serve the Lord with joy;
    Come before him with singing.
³ Know that the Lord is God.
    He made us, and we belong to him;
    We are his people, the sheep he tends.

⁴ Come into his city with songs of thanksgiving
    And into his courtyards with songs of praise.
    Thank him and praise his name.

 

PRAYER FOR THE DAY

God, by your Spirit, may I always choose gratitude, may I always choose joy.

 

LIVE SIMPLY! LOVE GENEROUSLY! CARE DEEPLY! SPEAK KINDLY! LEAVE THE REST WITH GOD!
