THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-The religious leaders were determined to kill Jesus and they broke
several commandments in order to do so-
2-It is ironic that's Barabbas was guilty of the crime for which Jesus was
accused-being a rebel who claimed to be a king and thus a threat to
Caesar-
3-The stone over Jesus' tomb was not rolled aside so Jesus could get out,
but so others could get in and see that Jesus had indeed risen from the dead,
just as he promised-
4-The resurrection of Jesus is the corner stone of the christian
faith-
5-Baptism symbolizes submission to Jesus, a willingness to live God's way,
and identification with God's covenant people-
STRANGE THOUGHT
The skeleton is what is left after the insides have been taken out and the
outsides have been taken off. The purpose of the skeleton is something to hang
meat to-
I'VE LEARNED
Forgiveness is a life style-
DID YOU KNOW
A baby beaver stays with its parents for a period of two years-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-How was it possible for David (a man after God's heart) to lust after
Bathsheba when he already had numerous wives and concubines?
2-To be forgiven by God do we need to repent and ask for it, or just admit
we have sinned?
3-Did David ask Bathsheba to come to him or was she commanded to do
so?
4-Did Bathsheba know why David had beckoned her and did she have an option
of not doing so?
5-Did Bathsheba know that King David from his palace would be watching her
sunbathing?

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
Psalm 128:1-4 Happy are
those who respect the Lord and obey
him.
2 You will enjoy what you work for, and you will be blessed with good things.
3 Your wife will give you many children, like a vine that produces much fruit.
Your children will bring you much good, like olive branches that produce many olives.
4 This is how the man who respects the Lord will be blessed.
