Sunday September 29, 2019 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Faith feeds on expectancy-
2-Our love for God motivates us to conform to his will by our choice-
3-While we are praying for sinners to come to Jesus, he is asking us to go to sinners-
4-You only believe what activates you-
5-We often want to make people over in our own image instead of letting God make them over in his image-

STRANGE THOUGHT
Who crosses the bridge of your nose?

I’VE LEARNED
Some members of your family may not always be there for you.  It may seem funny but people you aren’t related to can take care of you and love you and teach you to trust people again.  Families aren’t  just biological-

DID YOU KNOW
Balding men going to hair clinics are an average age of twenty four years and five months-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Were Jesus disciples “saved”?  If so, when?
2-When did Jesus disciples “repent of” and ask “forgiveness” of their sin?
3-Why didn’t Jesus take all the disciples to the Garden of Gethsemane?
4-Why did Jesus go to pray alone and not take Peter, James and John with him instead of leaving them behind?
5-Why did Jesus feel lonely in the Garden of Gethsemane?  Where was the Holy Spirit to comfort him?

BIBLE TRIVIA
Who had a vision of unclean animals while in prayer on a house top?
Answer for today      Peter       Acts 10:9-16

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”          John 3:20-21 KJ21

PRAYER

Father, help me love you with my entire being, as you deserve.  May everything I do arise from my ever deepening love for you.

I WISH YOU LOVE IN YOUR HEART-PEACE IN YOUR SOUL-  JOY IN YOUR LIFE -ALWAYS-
