Tuesday September 24, 2019 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness-
2-If you think you can , if you think you can’t, either way you are right-
3-People on the way down always blame someone else-
4-Old age is the price you pay for maturity-
5-God, you can open or close doors.  Help me to test each one to see which opens-

STRANGE THOUGHT
You don’t stop laughing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop laughing-

I’VE LEARNED
Sometimes, the people you expect to kick you when you are down will be the ones to help you get back up-

DID YOU KNOW
The average person flexes the joints in his fingers twenty four million times in his lifetime-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Does the Bible ever contradict itself?
2-Should Christians try to reconcile Bible teaching to modern philosophy?
3-Is there really any conflict between true science and the Bible?
4-To what degree are scriptures inspired, word for word or ideas?
5-Did the authors of scripture think they were writing or recording words for all of human history?

BIBLE TRIVIA
Who referred to the future Jerusalem temple as a “palace for  the Lord God”?
Answer for today       David       1 Chronicles  29:1, 19

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.                                          Hebrews 10:35-36 KJ21
PRAYER

Father, may my words and my actions today bring glory to your holy wonderful name-

I WISH  YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-
