Saturday October 5, 2019 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-To be led gently we must follow willingly-
2-Your concept of sin is based on your concept of God-
3-There is a difference between profession of faith and possession of the Savior-
4-Better to burn out than to rust out-
5-There is nothing to fear when  your trust is in God who loves you-

STRANGE THOUGHT
Can the calf of your leg eat the corn off your toe?

I’VE LEARNED
Just because two people argue doesn’t mean they don’t love each other.  Just because they don’t argue it doesn’t mean they do-

DID YOU KNOW
Women started removing hair from their legs in 400 BCE.  They either plucked them with tweezers or singed them with a flame-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-How can we understand God’s mercy?
2-Was Jesus filled with the Holy Spirit?
3-Should we study or read the Bible?
4-Are any other early church letters or writings on par with the Bible?
5-What do you need from God to help you through a difficult situation?

BIBLE TRIVIA
What king saw his nude neighbor on a rooftop?
answer for today     David       2 Samuel  11:2-4

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near.   Isaiah 55:6 KJ21

PRAYER

Father, thank you for the security that comes with knowing you will never leave me alone in this world-

TODAY WILL NEVER COME AGAIN.  BE A BLESSING, BE A FRIEND, ENCOURAGE SOMEONE, TAKE TIME TO CARE.  LET YOUR WORDS AND ACTIONS HEAL AND NOT WOUND-
