Thursday October 17, 2019 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-Don’t trade something of consequence for something of no consequence-
2-Happiness is not having what you want but wanting what you have-
3-A laugh at your own expense costs you nothing-
4-Gratitude is the memory of the heart-
5-Jesus was crucified on a cross so the whole world could see that his arms were stretched out for all-

STRANGE THOUGHT
If the shoe doesn’t fit, must you change the foot?

I’VE LEARNED
Even when you think you have no more to give, when a friend cries out to you, you will find the strength to help-

DID YOU KNOW
When the walkie-talkie was first introduced commercially in 1934, it was described as a “portable super-regenerative receiver and transmitter”

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Just when did Jesus return to the living?
2-Was Jesus’ resurrected body totally human?
3-How did Jesus affect those who saw him after his resurrection?
4-When Jesus appeared after his resurrection, what did that mean?  Was it a mystical thing?
5-When Jesus ascended to heaven, was it with a human body?  If so, when did he lose it?

BIBLE TRIVIA
What judge tore down the tower of Penuel and killed the people of the city?
Answer for today        Gideon       Judges 8:17

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY
The secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him, and He will show them His covenant. Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord, for He shall pluck my feet out of the net.                                Psalm 25:14-15 KJ21

PRAYER

Father, Teach me to let go more readily, more completely, that I may know your perfect peace-

MAY YOU ALWAYS HAVE LOVE TO SHARE, HEALTH TO SPARE, AND FRIENDS THAT CARE-
