SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
Do
not love the world or the things in the world. If you love the world, the love
of the Father is not in you. These are the ways of the world: wanting to please
our sinful selves, wanting the sinful things we see, and being too proud of
what we have. None of these come from the Father, but all of them come from the
world.
PRAYER
Father, fill me afresh today with your spirit,
that I may be used by you in whatever situations, interactions, and
opportunities to love that his day holds-
MAY YOU HAVE ENOUGH HAPPINESS TO
MAKE YOU SWEET, ENOUGH TRIALS TO MAKE YOU STRONG, ENOUGH SORROW TO KEEP YOU
HUMAN AND ENOUGH HOPE TO MAKE YOU HAPPY-
