Thursday November 14, 2019 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Anything you dwell on will tend to multiply-
2-Don’t fix your hope on the uncertainty of riches-
3-Contentment and Godliness make for generosity-
4-Income has nothing to do with generosity-
5-It is a tragedy to exchange soul satisfaction for fleshly delight-

STRANGE THOUGHT
Isn’t it strange how a $20 bill seems like a large amount when giving it to church but a small amount when going shopping-

I’VE LEARNED
You can’t start over just because you are losing the game-

DID YOU KNOW
To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-What does the Bible mean saying “If you are led by the Spirit you are no longer subject to the law?
2-Should all Christians have the gift of generosity?
3-How much responsibility should Christians have for meeting the needs of fellow believers?
4-Are Christians who do not tithe greedy?
5-Is the “tithe” supposed to go to the local place of worship or other ministries as well?

BIBLE TRIVIA
Who looked out of his window and saw a young man being enticed by a prostitute?
Answer for today       Solomon, or whoever wrote Proverbs       7:6-10

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
Christ himself suffered for sins once. He was not guilty, but he suffered for those who are guilty to bring you to God. His body was killed, but he was made alive in the spirit.

PRAYER

Father, thank you for being with me always, for the truth that nothing can separate me from your love-

MAY YOU ALWAYS HAVE LOVE TO SHARE, HEALTH TO SPARE, AND FRIENDS THAT CARE-
