Thursday April 23, 2020 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-God never leads us into a pessimistic attitude-
2-The more we follow the Golden Rule, the brighter it seems to shine-
3-Despair is a state of helpless futility-
4-Even success has a price to be paid-
5-Most things are difficult before they become easy-

STRANGE THOUGHT
Show me a piano falling down a mine shaft and I’ll show you a flat miner-

I’VE LEARNED
Almonds are a member of the peach family –

DID YOU KNOW
What is the second day of creation?         Divided heaven from earth

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Was Jesus crucified between two other men? If so, why was he on the middle cross?
2-Why did one of the men criticize Jesus while the other asked to be with Jesus after they both had died?
3-What kind of people were the Roman soldiers that they would mock a dying man?
4-How could a beaten dying Jesus ask his father to forgive those who wanted him dead-
5-Did the penitent crook know of Jesus prior to his crucifixion?

BIBLE TRIVIA
Who told believers that the promises of God were for their children as well as themselves?

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
because it is written in the Scriptures: “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘Everyone will bow before me; everyone will say that I am God.’” Isaiah 45:23         Romans 14:11 NCV

PRAYER

Father, help us not to choose our own comfort over the needs of others-

MAY YOU ALWAYS HAVE LOVE TO SHARE, HEALTH TO SPARE, AND FRIENDS THAT CARE-
