REMEMBERING OUR COUNTRY'S HEROS
Here are my thoughts for today
1-Rather than cursing the darkness around us, we are to speak blessings to our world and become God's instrument of light-
2-Spread love everywhere you go, first of all in your own home-
3-The future is your friend for God is already there-
4-Wisdom is always proved right by it's actions-
5-God is holy, He hates sin--God is just, He condemns sin--God is sovereign, he punishes sin--God is gracious, He forgives sin-
Strange thought-How does the brain process emotion-love, hate, happy sad, lonely, etc?
I've learned-Arrogance is a downward descent-
5 things I want to know
1-Do you always receive back in kind what you give away?
2-How did Adam/Eve disobedience bring death for mankind?
3-What did Jesus mean when He said, "our God is a consuming fire"?
4-Could the word fire as used in connection with hell mean a thirst for God that is never quenched?
5-What is the lake of fire in Revelations-is it symbolic or literal?
Scripture for today Psalms 7:9-17
9 God, you do what is right. You know our thoughts and feelings. Stop those wicked actions done by evil people, and help those who do what is right-
10 God protects me like a shield; he saves those whose hearts are right.
11 God judges by what is right, and God is always ready to punish the wicked.
12 If they do not change their lives, God will sharpen his sword; he will string his bow and take aim.
13 He has prepared his deadly weapons; he has made his flaming arrows.
14 There are people who think up evil and plan trouble and tell lies.
15 They dig a hole to trap others, but they will fall into it themselves.
16 They will get themselves into trouble; the violence they cause will hurt only themselves.
17 I praise the Lord because he does what is right. I sing praises to the Lord Most High.
I wish you a day filled with love, laughter, forgiveness and thanksgiving-jasper
