A FIELD OF BEAUTIFUL RED TULIPSHere are my thoughts for today
1-Sin is always pleasureable for awhile but then comes payday-
2-Sin enslaves you, salvation frees you from sin-
3-God didn't love us to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us-
4-Your goodness can't win God's love nor can your badness lose it, but we can and do resist it-
5-Jesus placed our sin in himself and invited God to punish him.
Strange thought-What happens to a spacecraft when it is so deep in outer space that we can no longer track it?
I've learned-If you want to find Jesus, read the gospels.
5 things I want to know
1-If Satan can turn himself into an angel of light, how can we know if we are being deceived?
2-Will Israel ever be destroyed again as a nation?
3-Why did God give Jesus only 3 years of ministry?
4-Will the earth come to an end or will human history come to an end?
5-Has the gospel been preached to the whole world yet?
Scripture for today Psalms 1
1 Happy are those who don't listen to the wicked, who don't go where sinners go, who don't do what evil people do.
2 They love the Lord's teachings, and they think about those teaching day and night.
3 They are strong, like a tree planted by a river. The tree produces fruit in season, and its leaves don't die. Everything they do will succeed.
4 But wicked people are not like that. They are like chaff that the wind blows away.
5 So the wicked will not escape God's punishment. Sinners will not worship with God's people.
6 This is because the Lord takes care of his people. But the wicked will be destroyed.`
