FRIENDS
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-We need a friend more than we need a judge-
2-When we make sin of no consequence we do the same with God-
3-The greater the love the greater the potential for pain-
4-Anything you dwell on will tend to multiply-
5-Don't fix your hope on the uncertainty of riches-
STRANGE THOUGHT-You know your landing gear is up and locked when it takes full power to taxi to the terminal-
I'VE LEARNED-Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully-
DID YOU KNOW-During his entire life, van Gogh sold only one painting,"Red Vineyard of Aries"-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-With what happened at Jesus' death, why didn't the Jewish religious leaders know he was the son of God?
2-Were the religious leaders so afraid that Jesus' popularity would cause them to lose control of the people and so had him killed?
3-Who were the daughters of Jerusalem that Jesus spoke to on the way to Golgatha?
4-Did Jesus control the timing of his death?
5-Was Jesus offered the drink of pain relief before the crucifixion or during it?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What was the original name of Zaphnath-paaneah?
Yesterday's answer Naomi (Ruth 1:20)
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY PSALM 147:10-20
10 He does not enjoy the strength of a horse or the strength of a man.
11 The Lord is pleased with those who respect him, with those who trust his love.
12 Jerusalem, praise the Lord; Jerusalem, praise your God.
13 He makes your city gates strong and blesses your children inside.
14 He brings peace to your country and fills you with the finest grain.
15 He gives a command to the earth, and it quickly obeys him.
16 He spreads the snow like wool and scatters the frost like ashes.
17 He throws down hail like rocks. No one can stand the cold he sends.
18 Then he gives a command, and it melts. He sends the breezes, and the waters flow.
19 He gave his word to Jacob, his laws and demands to Israel.
20 He didn't do this for any other nation. They don't know his laws. Praise the Lord!
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
