HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

1 God will not condone in the heart of the Christian what he condemns in the heart of the sinner-

2-If you were arrested today for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you?

3-Be careful not to do the right thing for the wrong reason-

4-It is hard to be burned out if you've never been on fire-

5-God wants 2 mile Christians-

STRANGE THOUGHT-Shoes are required to eat in the cafeteria, socks can eat anyplace they want-

I'VE LEARNED-When you say I'm sorry, look the other person in the eye-

DID YOU KNOW-Despite his great scientific and artistic achievement, Leonardo da Vinci was most proud of his ability to bend iron with his bare hands-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-Did the earthquake at Jesus' crucifixion cause wide spread damage?

2-Did crucifixions continue after Jesus died that way?

3-Why did the Romans not allow their own people to be crucified?

4-Would great fear have gripped the people at Jesus' crucifixion from the darkness, earthquake, people raised to life again, etc.?

5-Why/how did Jesus feel that God had forsaken him?

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY PSALM 149

1 Praise the Lord! Sing a new song to the Lord; sing his praise in the meeting of his people.

2 Let the Israelites be happy because of God, their Maker. Let the people of Jerusalem rejoice because of their King.

3 They should praise him with dancing. They should sing -praises to him with tambourines and harps.

4 The Lord is pleased with his people; he saves the humble.

5 Let those who worship him rejoice in his glory. Let them sing for joy even in bed!

6 Let them shout his praise with their two edged swords in their hands.

7 They will punish the nations and defeat the people.

8 They will put those kings in chains and those important men in iron bands.

9 They will punish them as God has written. God is honored by all who worship him. Praise the Lord!
