FRIENDS
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1- Steady effort is the surest and sanest course to anything worthwhile-
2-Absence does not make the heart grow fonder, it makes it grow forgetful-
3-Anger is the wind that blows out the lamp of intelligence-
4-People seldom get dizzy doing a good turn-
5-Nothing is as difficult to do gracefully as getting off your high horse--
STRANGE THOUGHT-A woman's place is in the home, just as soon as she leaves the mall-
I'VE LEARNED-One who borrows trouble is always in debt-
DID YOU KNOW-Einstein's last words were in German. Because the attending nurse did not understand German, his last words will never be known-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Did Judas choose to betray Jesus or was he chosen?
2-If Judas had not betrayed Jesus, would God have found someone else?
3-Was Judas' guilt so great that he could not have repented of his deed?
4-What was the real cause of Judas' betrayal of Jesus?
5-Do we choose to sin or does sin choose us?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Whose name meant "eagle"?
Yesterday's answer-Adam
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY MARK 2:23-28
23 One Sabbath day, as Jesus was walking through some fields of grain, his followers began to pick some grain to eat.
24 The Pharisees said to Jesus, "Why are your followers doing what is not lawful on the Sabbath day?"
25 Jesus answered. "Have you never read what David did when he and those with him were hungry and need food?
26 During the time of Abiathar the high priest, David went into God's house and ate the holy bread, which is lawful only for priest to eat. And David also gave some of the bread to those who were with him."
27 Then Jesus said to the Pharisees, "The Sabbath day was made to help people; they were
not made to be ruled by the Sabbath day.
28 So then, the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath day."
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
