HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

1-The Word of God keeps those who keep the Word of God-

2-Sometimes we need to pray one more time before we quit-

3-If God uses you, it is through his grace not your goodness-

4-We are blessed so what we can be a blessing-

5-Don't ever feel bad for a Christian who has been called home-

STRANGE THOUGHT-The generation of random numbers is too important to be left to chance-

I'VE LEARNED-Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction-

DID YOU KNOW-The only contemporary words that end with gry are angry and hungry-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-Was Jesus' body holy?

2-Did God require Jesus to be a sin offering for all of humanity-

3-Since the Trinity is one, did God crucify himself on the cross?

4-Does Jesus' death as a sin offering cover all people who never heard of him both before and after his life?

5-Was Jesus 100% God and 100% human or half God and half human?

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY 1 John 2:1-6

Jesus Is Our Helper

¹ My dear children, I write this letter to you so you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have a helper in the presence of the Father—Jesus Christ, the One who does what is right. ² He died in our place to take away our sins, and not only our sins but the sins of all people.

³ We can be sure that we know God if we obey his commands.⁴ Anyone who says, "I know God," but does not obey God's commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person.⁵ But if someone obeys God's teaching, then in that person God's love has truly reached its goal. This is how we can be sure we are living in God:⁶ Whoever says that he lives in God must live as Jesus lived.
