Monday August 1, 2011 thought for the day

DOES THIS LOOK GOOD TODAY?
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Character is built from the difficulties you face, not from being financial successful-
2-Not everything that counts can be counted-
3-Temptation is not sin, yielding to it is-
4-If your basket is not filled with wheat, satan will fill it with chaff-
5-God never turns a deaf ear to a contrite heart-
STRANGE THOUGHT-If you are not prepared for the trip, don't begin the journey-
I'VE LEARNED-Not all fear is bad. There is such a thing as healthy fear-
DID YOU KNOW-Laws forbidding the sale of sodas on Sunday prompted William Garwood to invent the ice cream sundae in Evanston, Illinois in 1875-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Can you be loyal to people who have let you down?
2-Do you give tithes out of your abundance or as a sacrifice?
3-If you can afford to give a 10% tithe, are you really giving it?
4-What is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit?
5-Why is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit unforgivable when all other sins are forgivable?
BIBLE TRIVIA-Who planted the first garden?
Yesterday's answer-Job 1:14
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY Romans 5:14-17
Adam was like the One who was coming in the future.15 But God's free gift is not like Adam's sin. Many people died because of the sin of that one man. But the grace from God was much greater; many people received God's gift of life by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ.16 After Adam sinned once, he was judged guilty. But the gift of God is different. God's free gift came after many sins, and it makes people right with God.17 One man sinned, and so death ruled all people because of that one man. But now those people who accept God's full grace and the great gift of being made right with him will surely have true life and rule through the one man, Jesus Christ.
PRAYER FOR TODAY

Praying manFather, enable us to make a difference within our families and with those whom we encounter along life’s journey. May others take notice of the God-given grace by which we do our work and in the way we interact with others. With Christ as our chief cornerstone we are stronger and more effective in all that we do because we walk not in our own strength, wisdom, or talent, but the grace of God that is at work in our lives. We thank You in Jesus’ name. Amen.

WISHING YOU LOVE IN YOUR HEART.....PEACE IN YOUR SOUL.....AND JOY IN YOUR LIFE.....ALWAYS!!!
