Tuesday December 6, 2016 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Wealth by itself is not incompatible with a holy life-
2-Not all financial tests have to do with empty billfolds-
3-There is no joy in the "carnal christian's "life-
4-God never leads us into a pessimistic attitude-
5-The more we follow the Golden Rule the brighter it seems to shine-

STRANGE THOUGHT
There are 35 million laws to enforce the Ten Commandments-

I'VE LEARNED
The deeper the love and greater the relationship you have with someone, the more it hurts when they leave for whatever reason-

DID YOU KNOW
If a statue of a person on a horse depicts the horse with both front legs in he air, the person died in battle-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Is it a spiritual handicap to have enough money to buy anything you want?
2-Is trust a learned response or a matter of the will?
3-Is ambition a christian value?
4-What is success?
5-What happens when we don't do what God wants us to do?

BIBLE TRIVIA
According to tradition, who wrote the book of Nehemiah?
Answer for the day    Nehemiah

SCRIPTURE FOR THE DAY
Matthew 25:37-40  Then the good people will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and give you food, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you alone and away from home and invite you into our house? When did we see you without clothes and give you something to wear? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and care for you?’
40 “Then the King will answer, ‘I tell you the truth, anything you did for even the least of my people here, you also did for me.’

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Father, open my heart to be generous with your blessings-

I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-
