THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-Jesus taught that the essence of prayer is not public prayer but rather private communication with God-

2-Repeating the same words over and over like a magic incantation is no way to ensure that God will hear your prayer-

3-"The Lord's Prayer" provides a pattern to be imitated as will as duplicated-

4-The phrase "our father in heaven" indicates that God is not only majestic and holy but also personal and loving-

5-We can honor God's name by being careful to use it respectfully-

STRANGE THOUGHT

You don't need to wear spurs on both boots.  If one side of the horse starts to run, so will the other-
