THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-We owed a debt we could not pay, Jesus paid a debt he did not owe-

2-There are no soloists in Gods orchestra-

3-We live out our faith through our good deeds-

4-Prayer is an acknowledgment of our need for God-

5-The gospel is too good not to share-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT

I never make the same mistake twice.  I make it 5 or 6 times just to be safe-

DID YOU KNOW

The loudest bird in the world is the male bell bird found in Central and South America.  To attract mates,  the male makes a clanging sound like a bell that can be heard from miles away.

 

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-If you modify the message to make Christianity more attractive do you still have Christianity?

2-Are there teachings of Jesus that Christians avoid?

3-How do we know for sure we have interpreted  jesus teachings correctly?

4-Does having good self esteem play any part in our salvation?

5-Should Christians try to position themselves in positions of power within our culture?

Father, help me to always remember that it is you who created me.  You gave me a place on this earth, you alone who truly satisfies the soul-
