Saturday April 20, 2019 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-The heart is more important than the hand in serving others-
2-When God wants to do an impossible task, he takes an impossible person and crushes him-
3-Everyone knows they will die but no one wants to believe it-
4-The problem with trying times is we quit trying-
5-Enthusiasm is self confidence in action-

STRANGE THOUGHT
When the clock was first invented, how did they know what time to set it to?

I’VE LEARNED
When Jesus talks about trees, he refers to teachers who deliberately teach false doctrines-

DID YOU KNOW
Eighty percent of the world’s food crops are pollinated by insects-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Are you “saved” at your confession, repentance or placing trust in God?
2-Are our physical bodies sacred?
3-Can you remain a Christian and deliberately sin?
4-Is salvation conditional?
5-Do we have “eternal security” when we are saved-once saved always saved?

BIBLE TRIVIA
Where did Moses see the burning bush?
Answer for today     Mt  Horeb   Exodus   3:1  Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian; and he led the flock to the back side of the desert and came to the mountain of God, even Horeb-

SCRIPTURE
“O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!   1 Corinthians 15:55-57 KJ21

PRAYER

Father, I kneel before you in submission to all you have planned for me-

TODAY WILL NEVER COME AGAIN.  BE A BLESSING, BE A FRIEND, ENCOURAGE SOMEONE, TAKE TIME TO CARE.  LET YOUR WORDS AND ACTIONS HEAL AND NOT WOUND-
