Wednesday April 24, 2019 thought for the day

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
1-Young David had to go into battle to win the victory-
2--There is no battle that God has entered that he has not won-
3-The world wants to see how the Christian handles crises-
4-We need to ask  “what does God want for me, not what does my heart want”-
5-If God can forgive sins, he surely can also heal sickness and hurts-

STRANGE THOUGHT
Pound cake is called pound cake because there was a pound of every ingredient in the original recipe-

I’VE LEARNED
Give, even when you know most likely you will not get anything back-

DID YOU KNOW
The average caterpillar has 248 muscles in its head-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-How much faith is faith the size of a mustard seed?
2-How do you get genuine results getting faith?
3-Can all scripture be taken at face value?
4-Is it God’s will to always heal someone sick?
5-Is all disease and illness sin related?

BIBLE TRIVIA
Where were Saul and Jonathan killed by the Philistines?  Answer for today   Gilboa  1 Samuel 31:1-6      Now the Philistines fought against Israel; and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and fell down slain on Mount Gilboa. And the Philistines followed hard upon Saul and upon his sons; and the Philistines slew Jonathan and Abinadab and Malchishua, Saul’s sons. And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit him; and he was sore wounded by the archers. Then said Saul unto his armor bearer, “Draw thy sword and thrust me through therewith, lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through and abuse me.” But his armor bearer would not, for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.And when his armor bearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise upon his sword and died with him.So Saul died, and his three sons, and his armor bearer, and all his men that same day together.

SCRIPTURE
For ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, such as silver and gold, from your vain way of living which ye received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot-1 Peter 1:18-19 KJ21

PRAYER

Father, thank you for saving me from my sins in and through your son Jesus the Christ-

-LIVE SIMPLY, LOVE GENEROUSLY, CARE DEEPLY, SPEAK KINDLY, LEAVE THE REST WITH GOD-
