Monday January 20, 2020 thought for the day

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Worship is giving God the best he has given you-
2-Never run ahead of God’s guidance-
3-Never run from God guidance-
4-When in doubt, don’t-
5-Truth doesn’t hurt unless it ought to-

STRANGE THOUGHT

I’VE LEARNED

DID YOU KNOW
James Madison was the smallest president in US history, measuring just five feet four inches and weighing about 98 pounds-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-What do blind people “see”?
2-When the five loaves and two fish were blessed by Jesus to feed the five thousand people, how many of each were provided in order to feed them all-?
3-At the feeding of the five thousand from the five loaves and two fish, did they have anything to drink?
4-Is there anything beyond eternity?
5-When speaking to a crowd, Jesus used stories to teach them God’s message.  Scripture also says that when he was alone with his followers Jesus explained “everything” to them.  Why were these things not explained in scripture for us to understand things more fully also-?

BIBLE TRIVIA
What king, who was also a poet and musician, embarrassed his wife by dancing in the streets?

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
My brothers and sisters, when you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience.                         James  1:2-3 NCV
PRAYER

Father, we are precious to you and nothing can separate us from the love of Christ-

MAY YOU HAVE ENOUGH HAPPINESS TO MAKE YOU SWEET, ENOUGH TRIALS TO MAKE YOU STRONG, ENOUGH SORROW TO KEEP YOU HUMAN AND ENOUGH HOPE TO MAKE YOU HAPPY-
