Tuesday January 14, 2020 thought for the day-from jasper

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY-
1-Every mountain has its valley-
2-If humility precedes an event then confidence may follow-
3-If you wish others to speak well of you then never speak well of yourself-
4-Demanding respect is like chasing butterflies, chase it and you’ll never catch it-
5-Ponder your success and count your money in a cemetery and remember neither is buried with you-

STRANGE THOUGHT
Is it possible to be too humble?

I’VE LEARNED
Many animals probably need glasses but nobody knows it-

DID YOU KNOW
The State Department refers to elevators as “vertical transportation units”

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Why did Jesus often withdraw to lonely places to pray?-
2-Is it possible to live minute by minute in the presence of God?
3-How do you get a hope filled heart?
4-What does it mean “to see Jesus”?
5-Wherever did we get the idea we can’t change?

BIBLE TRIVIA
Who wrote over a thousand songs?
Answer for today        Solomon       1 Kings 4:32

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
If people say, “I love God,” but hate their brothers or sisters, they are liars. Those who do not love their brothers and sisters, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have never seen. And God gave us this command: Those who love God must also love their brothers and sisters.                                       1 John 4:20-21 NCV

PRAYER

Father, when troubles come our way we will choose to pray instead of panic-

I WISH  YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-
