Sunday January 12, 2020 thought for the day

1-Living the life of faith is not a matter of trying harder, it is a matter of focus-
2-The success of the Christian life is not measured by the level of human effort applied-
3-We are not sent to battle for God but to be used of God in his battles-
4-Never ask the advice of another about anything God makes you decide before him-
5-We cannot change the process of getting older but we can change our attitude about it-

STRANGE THOUGHT
Why is the letter W called double U.  Shouldn’t it be called double V?

I’VE LEARNED
Your future self is watching you right now through memories-

DID YOU KNOW
A duffle bag is so called because the thick wool originally used to make the bags came from the Belgium town of Duffel-

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-How did Jesus worship?  If it was different from ours, why is ours different?
2-Did Jesus need to worship?
3-What exactly is worship?
4-Is it okay for different Christian people groups to worship in different ways?
5-Who or what can be worshiped?

BIBLE TRIVIA
What prophetess played a timbrel and led the women of Israel in a victory song after the red sea incident?

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY
You were all baptized into Christ, and so you were all clothed with Christ. This means that you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. In Christ, there is no difference between Jew and Greek, slave and free person, male and female. You are all the same in Christ Jesus.                            Galatians 3:26-28 NCV
PRAYER

Father, we are so grateful that you have chosen to reveal yourself to us through your Word.

I WISH YOU LOVE IN YOUR HEART-PEACE IN YOUR SOUL-  JOY IN YOUR LIFE -ALWAYS-
