THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-Life is like taking a shower, one wrong turn and you wind up in hot water-

2-Even if you are on the right track you will get run over if you just sit there-

3-Love is  a game that two can play and both can win- 

4-People look intelligent when they wear glasses but for some it is only an optical illusion-

5-The chains of habit are usually too small to be felt until they are too strong to be broken-

STRANGE THOUGHT-Wealthy people miss out on one of life's greatest thrills----making the last car payment-

I'VE LEARNED-Treat yourself generously-

1-Can agape love be shown by non Christians?

2-Are things right because the Bible says so or does the Bible say so because things are right-

3-Is what the Bible calls our "heart" really our mind?

4-Is there really power in the name of Jesus?

5-Does it matter what name we use in our prayers-Jesus-God-Savior-Lord-Father-?

THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY

1-Back seat drivers and dinner table cooks are one in the same-

2-Most trees take 5 years to produce nuts, but not the family tree-

3-You know you are grown up when you no longer have things stored at your parents home-

4-It is not so much the load you carry as it is how you carry it-

5-Keep your words soft and sweet for you never know when you may have to eat them-

 

STRANGE THOUGHT-Complaining is accusing God of not doing it right-

 

I'VE LEARNED-Forgive yourself completely-

 

DID YOU KNOW-There is enough stone in the Great Wall of China to build an eight foot wall encircling the globe at the equator-

 

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW

1-Why is it that the more we do for someone the more we like them?

2-How important is it to reach the "right" people with the gospel?

3-Why do we so soon forget what God has done for us?

4-Are we all "prodigal sons" in some way?

5-Can we be reconciled to God and not be reconciled to our brother?

1-Happiness makes up for in depth what it lacks in length-

2-The cost of living is as it has always been-25% more than you earn-

3-Parent is someone who has given a lecture on nutrition to a kid who has grown 6'4" by eating potato chips-

4-Hindsight is always 20/20-

5-Advice is more acceptable if it doesn't interfere with our plans-

STRANGE THOUGHT-The great thing about being in a small town is that when you don't know what you are doing, someone else does-

I'VE LEARNED-Value yourself joyfully-

DID YOU KNOW-The great wall of China, which is more than 4,000 miles long, took more than 1,700 years to build-

1-Why is it so many Christians are so critical?

2-Should we ever give out of duty rather than love?

3-Why does the "joy of our salvation" tend to fade out?
