Friday June 4, 2010 thought for the day

FREEDOM
HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-You cannot testify to your own virtue of humility-
2-There is a price to pay for everything we achieve-
3-There is a cost for every choice we make-
4-Your time of crises is a test of your stability-
5-Wisdom comes from a lifetime of listening when you'd rather have been talking-
STRANGE THOUGHT-Middle age is when you've met so many people that every new person you meet reminds you of someone else-
I'VE LEARNED-You must love yourself before you can love others-
DID YOU KNOW-Elvis Presley once appointed Special Agent of the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs-
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Can you worship the creator and not worship God?
2-Did Adam and Eve know Satan before they were tempted?
3-Was Satan a part of the Garden of Eden scenery while Adam and Eve walked with God?
4-Did Adam and Eve have any reason to be fearful of Satan?
5-Is the custodian just as important as the pastor in a church?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What king of Babylon, driven from his palace, lived in the wilderness and let his hair grow long and shaggy?
Yesterday's answer-Job-
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY MARK 10:42-45
42 Jesus called them together and said, "The non Jewish people have rulers. You know that those rulers love to show their power over the people, and their important leaders love to use all their authority.
43 But it should not be that way among you. Whoever wants to become great among you must serve the rest of you like a servant.
44 Whoever wants to become the first among you must serve all of you like a slave.
45 In the same way, the Son of Man did not come to be served. He came to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many people."
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
