Sunday June 20, 2010 thought for the day

HERE ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR TODAY
1-Oversleeping is a poor way of trying to make your dreams come true-
2-Mother nature giveth, father time taketh away-
3-Youth is a gift of nature, but age is a work of art-
4-Don't worry about tomorrow, you did that yesterday-
5-If you must make a mistake, it will be to your credit if you make a new one each time-
STRANGE THOUGHT-What do you give somebody who has everything? Antibodies.
I'VE LEARNED-a person who doesn't make mistakes never makes decisions-
DID YOU KNOW-Before Mickey Mouse, Felix the Cat was the most popular cartoon character.
5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Is the "bottomless pit" the same as the place of "hell"?
2-Is the "bottomless pit" the same place as the "lake of fire and brimstone"?
3-The fire that comes down from heaven at the battle of Armageddon, is it of nature and God sent or is it nuclear?
4-At the great White Throne Judgement, death and hell give up the dead which are in them. Why would they be in hell if not already judged?
5-What is the second death?
BIBLE TRIVIA-What Christian shaved his head at Cenchrea in connection with a vow?
Yesterday's answer-The Nazarites
SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY MARK 13:14-23
14 "You will see the destroying terror standing where it should not be. At that time, the people in Judea should run away to the mountains.
15 If people are on the roofs of their houses, they must not go down or go inside to get anything out of their houses.
16 If people are in the fields, they must not go back to get their coats.
17 At that time, how terrible it will be for women who are pregnant or have nursing babies.
18 Pray that these things will not happen in winter,
19 because those days will be full of trouble. There will be more trouble than there has ever been since the beginning, when God made the world, until now, and nothing as bad will ever happen again.
20 God has decided to make that terrible time short. Otherwise, no one would go on living. But God will make that time short to help the people he has chosen.
21 At that time, someone might say to you, 'Look, there is the Christ!' Or another person might say, 'There he is!' But don't believe them.
22 False Christs and false prophets will come and perform great wonders and miracles. They will try to fool even the people God has chose, if that is possible.
23 So be careful. I have warned you about all this before it happens.
I WISH YOU A DAY FILLED WITH LOVE, LAUGHTER, FORGIVENESS AND THANKSGIVING-JASPER
