HEAR ARE MY THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY
1-Kindness is a language all people understand-
2-Life is short so love it, love is rare so grab it, anger is bad so let go of it, fear is a mind killer so face it, memories are sweet so cherish them-
3-There is no elevator to success, you have to climb the stairs-
4-Choose to make the rest of your life, the best of your life-
5-Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart-

STRANGE THOUGHT-In winter, why do we try to keep the house as warm as it was in summer when we complained about the heat?

I'VE LEARNED-Nothing of beauty is ever lost, it is only changed-

DID YOU  KNOW-Seven percent of people think Elvis is alive! (Are you one of the 7%)

5 THINGS I WANT TO KNOW
1-Can you go to the well of grace too many times?
2-If God had wanted me to be different, would he have created me different?
3-How do you show love for God?
4-The apostles creed states that Jesus went to hell after his death.  If so, what was his purpose in doing so?
5-Did satan think he had defeated Jesus when Jesus went satan's place for a period of time?

BIBLE TRIVIA-What Roman official was visited by an angel who told him God had heard his prayers?
Answer for today   Cornelius       Acts 10:1-8

SCRIPTURE FOR TODAY   1 John 3:1
The Father has loved us so much that we are called children of God. And we really are his children.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Thankful man
Father, the conflict remains between our loyalty to You and our duties to the world. We are to be in this world, but not of the world. On the eve of Jesus’ crucifixion He asked You to sanctify the disciples by praying, I have given them Your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world…..And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.” Like the Jews we too struggle paying our taxes to our government knowing that so much is used irresponsibly and at times immorally in opposition to principles taught in Scripture. But we are also called to obey our authorities. We also recognize the benefits we enjoy collectively and individually through the collection of our taxes so we ask for grace as we deal with this matter every year. Keep us honest and fair so that we maintain our integrity, for that matters to You. Just as the Jews were told to pay taxes to the emperor whose coin bore His image, may we likewise give proper honor and devotion to You whose image we bear in our hearts. Amen.

TODAY WILL NEVER COME AGAIN. BE A BLESSING. BE A FRIEND. ENCOURAGE SOMEONE. TAKE TIME TO CARE. LET YOUR WORDS AND ACTIONS HEAL AND NOT WOUND!
